Speaking of the weather - high altitude temps
Is this happening while on VATSIM? I experienced a similar issue with 50*C ambient temps at FL210 and higher, turned out it was a conflict with FSInn's weather fetch and REX, turning off wx in FSInn fixed it for me.

How many have zero problems?
Aside from a minor drop in FPS, no problems yet.

Overclockers..
Check out my pc specs in my sig but I have been using the Thermaltake Frio push/pull cooler. I'm OC"d to 4.8ghz right now but when I was testing I had it as high as 5.2ghz and nary a BSOD. You're probably going to ask how I got the cooler on the P67 Mobo with the ram in the way, I'm only going to say "Google" how to make it fit. I'm reluctant to give out suggestions on modifying RAM cooling fins because it'll probably become my fault if the mod is not done correctly and someone toasts their nice new G.Skill Ripper.

Will I be able to run it okay with this spec?
I went with a 1000w supply, there's a few different power requirement calculators to be found on google that'll help you get a generalized idea of what you'll need for power but don't leave your self too slim on the power department, you'll want horsepower to spare for future upgrades. As for the Arctic Freeze, they're good. I've never used one but my brother is happy with his and he's got a OC'd i7-980x and hasn't had any issues. I run the Thermaltake Frio http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106150 It's a push pull 2 fan cooler, took about 2 minutes to set up. With sliders all the way to the right, NGX in Orbx world with REX2.0 running in the background, the warmest I've seen the processor is 62 degrees and that was pushing it on VATSIM out of KSEA.

You'll be hapy with your new machine. I have pretty much the same except for a GTX580. My SB is cranked up to 4.8ghz on air and I've yet to have any issues with it (make sure you install a good CPU cooler though), runs the NGX in and out of KSEA/CYVR with Orbx scenery at 30fps rock solid and no stutters. SB4 Issue
I have Rick but I have more bug issues with FSInn than I do with SB, I might give it another try if I can't sort out that darned Visual C+++ issue. Boy thats a frustrating rascal of a snag isn't it?

any program to rate how well you did?
VAFS works fine, for mine at least.

SB4 Issue
Hey Folks, I'm hoping you can help me with something I've been having a few issues with, I did searches for this particular snag but didn't find anything relating to it. Anyhow, while running SquawkBox from the FSX modules I get the dreaded assertion failed C+++++ Visual error pop-up which isn't new to SB4 in FSX and with all aircraft. I've learned to live with it by clicking the ignore button, some flights it happens, others don't and it's no big deal but I have been noticing while flying the NGX the pop-up is very brief then FSX CTD's. No problem, I can run it from the Start Menu/Programs outside of FSX which typically remedies this problem but in the case of the NGX, I get a pop up when I connect SB4 to the server. A small box pops up that states "SB4 has encountered a problem, would you like to close SB4?" (my wording might be off but it's close) If you click on the ok button, FSX CTD's. It's annoying but if you leave the alert box open with out clicking on it and tucking it away on my second monitor so I don't inadvertently hit it with the mouse, SB4 continues to run with no issues aside from my PTT button on my yoke no longer works and I have to use the default keyboard key to push to talk. If anyone has experienced this, that would be if you could share your remedies. Thanks in advance. PS>Love the A/C, phenomenal work! For those bashing the plane because of the buggies, consider how complex this aircraft is. With the amount of different add-on software required to run Win7 with FSX, it's amazing there aren't anymore and based on PMDG's history with other a/c, they'll have it sorted out and this forum will be dead. Great work guys!
