I usually use FSPassengersX on all my flights to rate and keep track of my virtual career. I understand that FSPx doesn't work with the ngx and was wondering if there is any other addon that would rate your performance of how well you flew it, what your touchdown rate was, etc. that would be compatible with it? any recommendations? thanks

Radar Contact is all I can think of. But, that only rates your compliance with ATC instructions.Trevor

I'd look at FSCaptain. It's quite similar to FSP, and seems to work with the NGX

FlightKeeper comes to my mind. I remember using it in conjunction with FSPS and both of them if configured well were giving fair evaluation of my flight performance.Mind you though it was back when I used FS9 with level-d 767.

Fsairlines.net, will track your flight, reward you and your airline, and monitors v/s landings, wear and tear, fuel, landing lights etc

lol radar contact always screams at me about not decending fast enough. Then I get an ear ache from the guy on the ground in the end of fligh. They keep asking me to decend 20,000ft within 30 miles!! even with the speed breaks theres just no way. PS if you select the "Unable to comply" option its not as bad

BlackBox is a great and acurate program. Puts the flight into Google Earth after you are finished so you can see visually how well (or bad...) you did. http://www.utr-onlin...ware.asp?page=4

Fs Flight Keeper goes nuts with the NGX. THe flight rater portion flat out does not work with the NGX, it seems to have issues with the lights ,so it will dock you massive amounts of points because it thinks you are running the engines with the beacons off, or under 10.000 MSL with the landing lights off. But as for the log book parts of FSFK, those work fine. Watch out for how you have the reports set up, if you have all the boxes checked, your post flight report will have about a million and a half incidents of the anti-ice on, then off, then on, then off.

VAFS works fine, for mine at least.

I don't have this problem with the NGX and RC4, the only time I would is if I have a STAR/APP in my flight plan that routes me around the airport for a far side approach (which gives me a FMS T/D much closer directly to the destination) and when I get told to descend I just Alt intervene at 1000fpm until I recapture the VNAV PATH, In this case I just LVL CHG or set a descent of around 2000-2200fpm and it works out ok. if I have a direct in APP in the FMS which gives me a much earlier T/D I have no trouble recapturing (RC4 always orders initial descent earlier though) and following the path most the way, however sometimes RC4 holds me at ALT a little too long requiring some hot descent rate to get back on path once cleared.
