I see a cooperation between Navigraph, TOPCAT and PMDG could make this work!

Watch the Munich vids. RSR said that they are having trouble making the EFB work with the NGX/777 because it's taking too many resources away from the plane.

He also said when they get it to the point they're happy with it, they will release it. No time frame for that either.

Didn't they say if we wanted it for release that would delay it? To be honest, don't really need an EFB. I use my iPad and iPhone to pull up Charts, only thing I really see if good for is the Performance calculator! But would be cool. If they integrated with Navigraph that would mean you'd have to pay for Charts correct?

your'e right, i am actually don't really need the charts, the performence calculator will be nice, but it's always nice to have the whole package.

I'm sure(And this goes with any Questions on the 777X) it's on a 4 part Video series on youtube, of a person filming the WHOLE of the PMDG conference

well i hope you do need charts or... actually use them ;)

 

besides that, there are people without those apple products and who only have a laptop where its quite a desaster to switch back to windows to read some pdf documents. also because that crashes the flightsim from time to time..

Mickey, i am certainly use charts, but with a folder that i have all the charts, so i don't really need this, and i think it will be really difficult to undersant the charts from the EFB. thanks again,

I wouldn't want the plane delayed just for an EFB, if they can get it to work good then I'm more than content on waiting for it to show up as a service pack.

If the EFB can show up as a 2d pop up like the FMS then it shouldn't me much of an issue or slave EZ dock to it.

I do not care about charts too much, I like paper ones. But performance calculator is something we really need.

Sure we need a performance calculator. That would be fantastic!
