  1. I fully agree with Rob. Not only Cockpit builders, but also (as me) four monitor users need 2D Panels; I will need an overhead panel and put it on a "own" monitor over my head!! Peter
  2. Hi And how about Cockpit builders using the new PMDG 777, how can they distribute the Cockpit instruments over several monitors? Thanks Peter Hi And how about Cockpit builders using the new PMDG 777, how can they distribute the Cockpit instruments over several monitors? Thanks Peter
  3. Hi A 2D overhead would be super to move it to my overhead monitor!! Thanks Peter
  4. Bryn I agree with you. I also use only 2D panels; I dont like the VC; I have 68 years maybe this is the problem. That is why I switched ti the iFly 737-800 who has a full 2D Cockpit (extended on two big 26" screen in my config); additionally you can click on the instruments and they are increasing even more. It is a not very customer friendly from PMDG; just as 2D Panels are very easy to build. Peter
  5. Hi Will the 777 have a 2D-panel set (incl. FMC, pedestal, etc.)? Thanks Peter www.cheeseair-va.ch
  6. Hi all I am a happy Level-D 767 user. But when PMDG will release the B777 (triple seven) I will go and have this plane. As I am a old simmer (67 years) I only fly 2D-panels on a multimonitor setup. Will the 777 have a complete 2D-panel setup also (not as the 737-has no 2D pedestal!)? Thanks Peter
  7. Hi You can use this EFB with any plane! http://www.aivlasoft.com/products/index.html Peter
  8. HiA pilot of my VA has painted the PC12 for the FSX with our Cheeseair colors; have a look.My linkPeterwww.cheeseair-va.ch
  9. >>Hi, I don;t know if this will help you or not.I have the>>following cards in my comp. and they work fine. You must set>>your mob. up for single card mode. I use three monitors for>my>>fsx sim.>>>> MOB. ASUS A8N-SLI. ( single card mode )>> One Nvida 6600 GT>> one Nvidia 7600 GT ( primary card ).>> I use the drivers that came with the 7600GT for both cards.>>Yes, yours works because both cards can use the same driver.>Peter's doesn't because his can't. >It's a simple matter of hardware FACT that unless you create a>separate hardware profile you cannot have two set of drivers>for a video display installed at the same time, and even then>you cannot access each at the same time. PCI-X is NOT>AGP/PCI.>>Peter, you will NOT fix this issue with different drivers.>YOur hardware is fundamentally incompatible Give up. Buy a>second 8800 and SLI it, or buy a Matrox Triple Head and run>everythnig off the one card.>>>>AllcottAlcottThanks.Today I tried with a "modified" 8800 driver (from Guru) that supports 8800 and 7XXX cards. It works perfect with "normal" applications like the browser, mail etc. What I tried out:1.I have 4 monitors and my Nvidia-setting is to use the for monitors each one separatly. This works for 2D applications as stated above.Result: but when I use FS2004 or FSX all is very slow and also the mouse pointer is bumbping. 2. The same 4 monitors but definded each graphic adapter as extended horizontal desktop; the FS2004 / FS X is running fine. But it is not what I want; I want whad I had on my "old" PC, a config with total 6 screens:1 AGP adapter: one exit to the Matrox TH2G (3 screens), the other exit to an other screen.2 PCI cards with one screen eachHow can I do this with my Nvidia 8800 GTS and 7600 GT? Please help me!!Thanks Peter
