  1. Oh man bringing out the big guns! I CAN TOP THAT:PAID*
  2. All that can be done is tighter security measures. Sadly that is very hard and expensive to achieve.
  3. But it's only stealing for 3 days, so it's validated! (kidding of course)
  4. I actually have ENB installed, I just need to find better settings!
  5. http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x16edaI'd like to see that guy get realism like that and still have a flight smooth as silk :)
  6. So let me get this straight. You want PMDG to fix something you haven't personally experienced? That's a good one.CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:FRAPS can cut your FPS up to, but not limited to, HALF of your average FPS when recording.Maybe the videos you have watched the computers have been absolutely terrible, configured poorly, and fraps recording the video? You can resolve this by two methods. 1) Remove the idiot that purchased and configured the computer and 2) don't use fraps to benchmark or reference your setup.
  7. So does this mean government funding for PMDG?!?!?! Even better products!!! lol kidding. Best of luck Robert
  8. Well, let's start simple:You are using a MOUSE to fly? :(Anyways, it may just be the system *working it's magic* -- I personally lower the yoke so I don't see it and haven't really ever noticed it. If it doesn't affect your flight performance, then it may just be the luck of the draw with how that specific system was modeled with the damper system active.
  9. FDS was actually contacted by Boeing and signed a NDA. Boeing gave them all of the relevant information, and they built the dreamliner's cockpit based on that. They didn't release photos until after the NDA was no longer valid (When she took to the skies).
  10. I recently got a quote from Project Magenta. Total cost for a full Boeing package is about $800 USD. And that's just for the software hah.
  11. Software related for the hardware to work you'd need something like Project Magenta, or have PMDG create something more malleable. The PMDG setup isn't too friendly with home cockpit builders in terms of just plugging in all the hardware and going -- you need something more advanced like PM to do it for you.The hardware itself is a mockup of the real deal -- it's as close as you can get without it actually being the real thing. They try to keep materials similar, but in the end you are plugging it in via a USB or some other cable into your physical PC. An aircraft setup is clearly more advanced as to wiring and how ti all plugs in and works with the systems on board.http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/forum/v...opic.php?t=4104 -- is this the mockup you are referring to? Flight Deck Solutions is probably one of the more advanced for a custom home built cockpit, and does this on a professional level -- if my memory serves me right, they either use PM or have their own software similar to that of Project Magenta, that works exclusively with the hardware FDS sells you.You can find more shots of the hardware here: http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/view_page.php?id=76
  12. Who says you can't play without sounds? That autta do it! :(
  13. Performance is far too hard to predict. The JS or MD-11 perform differently depending on a users hardware setup, addons, how they configured FSX, what tweaks they have done, and what they have running in the background on said computer. Each plane will effect performance differently based on these points, so they really cannot even give a ballpark estimate, as it will most likely be wrong for SOMEONE (and that someone will complain to no end no doubt :(). There are just far too many factors to weigh in on to give any answer that has any value.I could easily tell you it will only impact your FPS by about 5-10 -- but the impact depends specifically on how you look at it -- Default scenery? Are sliders at min or max? Do you have SB4 and Active Sky Running? Do you have any Mesh textures? Do you have an anti-virus turned on affecting performance? Do you have a GTS250 or a GTX285?As said in many tweaking guides, and is a favorite amongst most developers and FSX Fans, Your Millage May Vary
  14. Pre-911 I think I'd die from laughter if I was on that plane.
