FS2Crew was running very well until yesterday. I am not able anymore to open FS2Crew within the VC. The mousepointer does not change when I go to the plate in the VC. I have to go to views, instruments etc. to open it. I installed the trial version of VOXATC, maybe that's the reason. Any help is very much appreciated. Peter

It was working much better with the F/O until I reach the approach phase, the F/O continously "Ready to reply to the checklist challenge" or similar so I have to close MCE. Still no luck to get GSX working by voice commands. Peter

Thanks for quick answer guys, there are no flow documents for the AXE in the documents; just checklists. Gerald, again during approach I get weird challenges from the F/O and a repeated loc,loc,loc..... Thaks Peter

Hi, I downloaded the trial version of MCE and did a couple of flights with the Airbus X Extended. I have to say I am a bit confused. There are a lot of possible sound commands but not in a kind of flow. So let's say I am in the cockpit of the AXE c&d. Where do I start? The Airbus X Check is not working 100% nor is it complete. I saw in a video "Electrical power up with ground power"; fine works, but where is that in the documentation? Or before you run a checklist you have to run a flow or procedure. Nothing mentionend in the documentation. During approach the F/O is challenging me for a checklist answer, but I did not call a checklist; he is also saying loc, loc, loc again and again until touchdown; annoying. I am not able to contact ATC. I can contact Ground Services (GSX or AES), but they do not react to eg."start passenger boarding". For my taste the FO is a bit too funny. If someone has a working flow/procedures for the AXE, ATC, Ground Services I'd love to see it. I know that I do not have problems with the speech recognition itself as with the other program I use I do have nearly a 100% hitrate. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Peter

Is there a way to increase the volume of the boarding sound? I do have GSX and AES but the timing doesn't work out, so I would like to use the FS2 boarding sound only which is hard to notice. Thanks Peter

Hi, usually I get close to a 100% FO's correct response or reaction. Only with the above mentioned phrase nothing happens. I checked and I am in the roll out phase and below 60mph. I use the European crew. Thanks for the help Peter

Ok, rain shows up now. Not sure what was wrong in the 1st place. I have RexE as textures and can hear the rain outside but not in the cockpit (PMDG 737NGX, QW Avro RJ100). I seemed to remember that I was able to heare the rain also inside. Does someone know a solution? Thaks Peter

Does anyone have the same problem? From everfything what I read in the forums Opus seems to have a superior weather engine and I am really interested in the product. Peter

Hi, I just installed the demo of OpusFSX with only the weather option active. A/C position EDDM, metar was very correct (wind, qnh, overcast, rain), but there was no rain around the aircraft. When going into towerview you could see the rain. I then loaded AS2012 to make sure there is nothing wrong with the simulator and everything was there as it should be. Peter

I had the same after SP1c. Make sure you set your soundsystem in Windows to Stereo; no 5.2 etc. Fixed it for me.

Had the same with all my sounds after SP1c. Check that you have your sound configured to stereo.

Aha, are you a rw pilot and if so do you have to apply around 40% N1 to get a lightly loaded 737 going?

I noticed 2 things; if I have to break during taxiing and then continue to taxi I need a lot of power to move the aircraft, this was very smooth with SP1b. Also something happened to the sound; I had great sound when setting my speakers to 5.2, if I do that now the sound starts to cease after a while and sometimes disappears completely. I had to set it to stereo to make it work.Peter

I have a strange dll (dll.xml.orig) in the same folder fsx.cfg and dll.xml are. Never noticed that before.

No, if I can avoid it. My question was can I uninstall FSX SP1 and SP2 and reinstall without harm?Peter

Vaughan,I had saved the original NGX RTMs on an external drive; that should not be a problem. There might be something fundamentally wrong as the JS41 does not install correctly either, blank instruments. FSX is on D.ThanksPeterOh, one thing, when installing a scenery I had incidentally reinstalled FSX SP1; maybe there is a problem for the PMDGs, everything else is running.

I had to reinstall Windows7/64 and so FSX and all addons (a lot). Everything worked fine until I came to my NGX and JS41.Installing the base pack of the NGX, it did not asked me for an installation key, in the dll there are PMDG entries missing (like Options etc.) and I have only half of the cockpit. The JS41 installed fine, asked for the key, but the instruments are blank.I have checked the dll and it is correct.Any help is much appreciatedThanks Peter

Oh, you mean the normal fsx.cfg. Ok it looks very different to the above mentioned; e.g. no entry for cloud layers etc.Peter
