  1. Hi, I am facing a problem with the voice volume of my Copilot. Starting up I can hear my Copilot very well. When ATC chatter (default P3d) kicks in the volume of my CoPi goes very low, bearly hearable. Is anyone else having this problem? If not can you kindly describe your sound setup. Thanks Peter
  2. Thanks Gerald, the sound card is here and I can put it into the PC. Being it a Win10 issue, I wonder how many users are facing this problem. Would be great if users could comment. I will open another thread. Peter
  3. I followed the recomendations in the article but CoPi voice still turns down when ATC is active. I do have an old soundcard laying around. Do you think that might help? Peter
  4. I am on Windows drivers. Just deleted the Realtek ones and made a system restart. The headset is connected to back of the PC.
  5. Happy too early. CoPi voice still turns down when ATC is active even so I have communication configured as recommended. In addition I "loose" my first officer quite often (no communication, no actions). Sometimes she/he comes back later during the flight. Peter
  6. It may help to highlight that somewhere during the installation. Peter
  7. Thank, thank you very much, Gerald. I am now a happy MCE user again. Peter
  8. It's almost working now. One problem left is, when I tune in ATC the CoPi voice gets so quite, that I cannot hear her/him anaymore. Peter
  9. Yeah, this got me further. Now strange thing is that the voice answers partially in German.
  10. I have 2 sound devices: 1 Realtek headset (only microphone cable is connected via Jack) and Realtek speakers with Jack connected. Just to summarize what I have done: Language English US installed, changed region to English US, set up voice recognition in Win10 to test and it is working. Running the AppWizard everything goes fine until I reach point 9 ( "select speed two four zero") my voice is not recognized. So basically Win10 recognizes my voice, but MCE does not. Peter By the way when coming to point 9, Windows little Voice recog wizard comes up. I cannot remmeber seeing that in my old installation. Checking which apps can access the mic, I can Prepar3D.exe.
  11. Gerald, I cannot use MCE as my voice is not recognized withhin MCE. I thought I made that clear already in my first post. I started MCE withhin the sim, no recognition of my voice. For a test I clicked on the mic button, it got disabled, I clicked again and it stayed disabled, even so the red text said "MCE speech recognition is now acvtive".
  12. Yes, the microphone icon is there. Windows speech training goes well. As soon as I continue with the wizard "select speed two four zero" I am not recognized anymore. Mic icon is still there, in Microphone settings I can see under "Allow desktop apps to access mic" Speech Recognition currently in use. Don't you think that the semi English/German response to my name challenge after SAPI setting to English US is strange? How can I install MCE on my PC with an English interface? Thanks Peter
  13. For what is worth. When I run MCE wizzard and MS speech recognition in parallel MS speech recognition is not working "start listening" nothing happens. When I close the wizzard MS speech recognition is working I say "start listening" little window shows "listening".
  14. Microphone "Allow desktop apps..." is on. MCE is not listed, Prepar3D.exe is listed, probably from my last trial.
  15. Thanks Gerald, did all that but is not working. Strange thing, when I open Voice Recorder it says "need to set up microphone". But when I go into settings/sound/input my mic is there and working. As said above when I am asked for my name during the MCE app the answer is very much German/English "do I spell your name(=pronounced in German) Peter correctly?" SAPi popup looks correct like in the installation guide. Peter
  16. Unfortunately still not working. What I did. Set region to English US Reinstalled MCE (the interface comes in German, on my old PC it was in English) Setting up speakers and mic again started voice training (when asked for my name, Peter was recognized but with a mix of English/German language) ran through the training until I reached, say "select heading one four seven", tried severeal times, not recognized! Whatelse can I do? I am a bit deparate, MCE was running perfectly on my old PC. Peter
  17. Thanks Gerald, everything is set correct, mic is recognized withhin P3D. There were no problems running the voice training, but is still not working. I am getting regular WHEA or DPC errors in Windows now. Should I reinstall maybe also reinstall English US? Peter
  18. Hi, my voice does not get recognized (no reaction from Copilot, no red "voice bar" on top of the screen". I am on German Win10 pro, installed English US, installed MCE (the SAPI thing happened automatically), ran through voice training twice successfully. I am new to Win10, so probably I did something wrong. Thanks for the help. Peter I recognized, that it takes a long time to open the Run App Wizard
  19. Hi, I setting up a new PC and would like to use the flows I created. Where do I find them. I can find the flows which come with the installation but not my own.
  20. Works fine here. I used to talk to the ground crew, now I let AOC interact with GSX. Peter
  21. Hi Haseen, and if all that doesn't help, you might try first loading the DA62 at your desired airport and then start Active Sky. I know that some FSLabs customers face issues when loading ActiveSky first and then the FSL Airbus. Might be unique to the FSL Airbus but you never know. Peter
  22. Thanks Simbol, but this was on the ground and tailwind, no problems in the air. Peter
  23. Yesterday I was flying LSZR-EDDM with strong winds reported especially around MUC. The aircraft was nicely controllable in the air but taxiing in MUC with a 32 kts tailwind was nearly impossible. I was pushed off the taxiway right and left. Is this a bit oversensitive or would you have to leave the DA52 in the hanger in the rw? Peter
  24. Thank you very much Oliver. Now I can see my GPU switch in the Vertex DA62 🙂. Peter
