Cutback Unavailable @ KSNA
United actually does nonstop to ORD and EWR a couple of times daily using the -700. Done EWR a few times and talk about pucker factor before V1.

Absence of callouts in Southwest paint for the 800
I have sat in the jumpseat on numerous SWA flights both in the NG's and classics and have noticed this as well. The PNF makes these callouts based upon the radio altimeter I believe. Really different as every other airline that operate 737's uses the mechanical voice for these call outs including mine.

Where do i find the Landing Altitude?
You can also go to index then Nav Data and enter the ICAO identifier in the APT identifier slot and it will give you the airport elevation.

Split PFD/ND
As far as I know United is the only airline still using this setup. United is in the process of switching over to the normal PFD/MFD setup now that the last 737-500 was parked in the spring. I think the fleet is about 60% converted right now. I know Southwest used to have the split setup as well, but I believe all of their NG's have been converted as well. C

HiLo Chime Sound?
Maybe PMDG can add this as an equipment option in the FMS for those who would like to have the hi-lo (Ding Dong) chime instead of just the single chime in SP1. Some airlines do have this option instead of the single chime. Any thoughts?? Chris Jackson

Another sound question
I am having a problem hearing the engine sounds in the cockpit when looking forward in both the VC and 2d panel modes. Even at full power I cannot hear the buzz sounds from the engines, no engine spool up sounds or anything when looking forward at the panels. In VC mode if I rotate the view 90 or so degrees that is the only way to hear any of the engine sounds. I set up the sound options as recommended in the introduction, and also tried pressing Q twice in succession when changing views, but all I hear is the wind noise from outside and the airflow from inside the cockpit. Any ideas or suggestions. Thanks Chris Jackson
