  8. Dude, you spoiled the fun? What's wrong with you, you could have at least kept it to yourself.
  9. You're funny Randazzo. I think that the airplane will be released tonight as they're telling us to wait up to 3 months at the latest. I think they're just trying to put us off and then BAM, NGX is ours by midnight, which is good, cause its the weekend and I have lots of free time.
  10. "Now that we have the "How to become a pilot" which I found to be an interesting read."I guess I'l take credit for that I also like to know the opinion of others and although people can get quite annoyed as I've just read in the newest "How to", It says google it. That's rubbish, I like that, that man/woman should be privileged that we come to ask.Rant over, I'm 16 so I wouldn't know how to help unfortunately,
  11. I remember you saying that you'l show us the night lighting in the cockpit :)But you can save it ;)
  12. Thanks everyone, just to let you know, I read all of these comments, and I'm not one of the people who washes the planes for a quick ride in a PA-38 ;) I'm one who has spent near enough 2 thousand pounds already, OF MY OWN MONEY into flying and i'm 16. What am I getting myself into. (Rhetorical question) You see pilots all the time on flights, and they seem happy enough, is it okay once you've found a job and all?
  13. Yes, It's alot of money but its worth it, I think anyway, I will be sure to like anything aviation related/physics related as that's my strongest subject.
  14. Thanks everyone, I just wanted to know how everyone else would do it, not just my instructor, know what I mean?I hope to go to Uni but I don't know what would be best to study? Aeronautical Engineering someone said, would that be best o study?
  15. Hi everyone, thanks alot! and I mean alot!I have 13 hours at Edinburgh Flying Club as it is right at my door, I fly the PA-38 if you're wondering. When I get my PPL what do I do from there? And there then after? Thanks!
  16. Hi there, sorry I forgot to list. United Kingdom - Edinburgh - EGPH.
  17. Hi everyone, me again, I would like a little advice.Im 16 as I've told you countless times :( And I would like to know the best way of becoming an airline pilot, whether its going to a flight college, Uni?I want to know all of this now at a young age so I don't choose the wrong path.Could you go into details (If you don't mind and if you feel so) because I NEED to be a pilot, that's how I feel. Thankyou everyone and look forward to seeing some of the replies!
  18. Don't worry, I come here for help all the time too. These guys are great.
  19. If it came as a .zip file, you will need winrar, I'm assuming you already have that. All you need to do, is drag the files into a folder of your choice, anywhere. Then you execute the FPS_Limiter_GUI.jar file and then browse for the fsx.exe file, you input the number of frames you want locked. The thing you have to remember is.When you create the file, it will be created in the folder with all the other files, you can make shortcuts of the file usually something like "fsx.exe.limited" as a windows batch file type, what you cannot do however, is take that file out of that folder as it needs to cooperate with all the other files in the folder. So you can create shortcuts. BUT DO NOT REMOVE THAT FILE FROM THE FOLDER unless you take the rest of the files with you.
  20. You have to have all the files in the same folder in order for it to execute.
  21. Thanks everyone, flying is a passion, I want to do nothing else. You see Thomson or Thomas Cook pilots, and they all seem really happy, I mean they must have to for passenger reasons. It's just I want to fly, but there aren't as many pilots replying as I thought there would, could that mean something? Or they just can't be bothered. So, I don't mind spending 2/3 of a year in a suitcase (Or out of, in this case) or spend alot of time away from home. I want to fly and I will do anything to do it for a living. So thanks everyone!
  22. Hi everyone, I am taking flying lessons and obviously want to be a commercial airliner pilot, and I'm not stupid, so no smart reply's, yes? :( I currently have 13 hours in the PA-38 at EFC (Edinburgh Flying Club), The question I am asking is, due to the current circumstances of the recession and such, should I continue and waste money only to face unemployment or should I continue, if I should, can you explain why? And if I shouldn't then can you explain why aswell? Thanks alot guys! Hoping for a bunch of replys. :D
