  1. Hi Dmitry, Try here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/343923-jims-ase-settings/
  2. Hi Stacey,Could you please send an update with your situation? Still getting CTD's? Have you changed anything? We more or less seem to have a similar rig with win7-64 and the addons you mentioned, and I keep getting random CTD's because of atc.dll in long or short flights, so I;d appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
  3. I can transform the shp file to WGS84 very easily. I'll try SBuilderX and see what comes out. Thanks!
  4. Hello,I was wondering if there is a simple method to import a road network (in ESRI .shp format), into FS9/FSX scenery.Although I'm a FS veteran, the last time I was involved with scenery design was back in the days of FS4, so TBH I got a bit confused after doing a search in the forums for this matter. The idea is that I have a shapefile with all the main Greek roads, (4-5 different road types), so I need to know if there is a simple way to keepe these 4-5 road types distinct, and convert them into one or more bgl files that will cover all of Greece in the FS world. Thanks!
  5. I get a CTD with or without Shader 3. I changed water to low.2x and just managed to fly a bit further. In the end... CTD. Here's the event log in case it helps:Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e17d3Faulting module name: terrain.dll, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e180dException code: 0xc0000005Fault offset: 0x00055a3eFaulting process id: 0x31cFaulting application start time: 0x01cbc3c751e95f47Faulting application path: E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exeFaulting module path: E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\terrain.dllReport Id: 582b6c86-2fc3-11e0-90c7-d027883e36b4
  6. Hi Paul J, thanks for your reply.I ran a few more tests, and I think I managed to narrow down some specific results.a) Even after copying the right version of UIAutomationCore.dll to my fsx root folder, I still got a CTD at exactly the same scenery area.b ) What is special about this area is that the flight takes place above ground, and only then I start getting the first glimpses of water.c) Flying with the LDS-767, I get a CTD. However, when changing to a different aircraft I'm getting these odd jumpy unstable fps you described, but no CTD.d) To confirm that water was the main suspect, I opened nVidia Inspector and noticed my GPU load while looking around the scenery. And there it was. When looking over the ocean my GPU load would jump to 99% (with jumpy unstable fps). When looking over the land, GPU load would drop to 40-50% and have stable fps.My water effects are @ high.2x, and my tweaked fsx.cfg has these values[bufferPools]RejectThreshold=131072[GRAPHICS]SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED_10=1693458432SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1693458432Ideas?
  7. Hello,I got a CTD caused by atc.dll just yesterday. I was wondering if there's any update on a possible solution for this. Thanks
  8. Great job *******!I tried your tweaking tool 2 days ago, and I was really surprised by the results, mainly around heavy scenery. I did notice a slight fps increase around these areas, but mostly it was the stabile fps count that produced an excellent result. Using Aerosoft's Mega Scenery for example, i was getting around 12-15 fps before, whereas after the tweaks I had a steady 17-20! However, last night I had my first CTD, after a two hour flight, and I'm not sure what caused it, since it's the first time I'm using a tweaked fsx.cfg and fps limiter (as suggested). I guess the best place to start from would be the bufferpools???Thanks again for your great input to the community.P.S. It was also the first time I was flying with the LDS-767, so there could be an issue with the UIAutomationCore.dll as mentioned before. However, I didn't have a CTD while using the ground menu or whatsoever.
  9. Have a look in this thread.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324439-fshotsfx-replacement-for-win7vista/
  10. Done!Hopefully, the guys at Flight1 will have a look into this. This product is definitely missing from fs9 win7 installations.
  11. I'm using the feelthere ERJs (SP2) with no problems in win7-64bit. Are you sure, you're installing it correctly?
