  1. Slightly off the topic, but wide screen monitors are a problem over the LED CRTs especially in the area of multiple monitors. Making Wide Screen = False, the stretching at the edges of the outer screens resolves significantly, and does look much better. (I personally think anyway, and no doubt some will hate it and that's okay as wel). I have searched everywhere to try to resolve the stretching and this is the best so far. Tom Tsui wrote the following in FSX Times Article 251 ( there are two parts to this). Tom Tsui writes ..... ......... .With the three 27-inch monitors in place, I’ve been able to bring up a glare-shield of the Cessna 172 panel that matches the size of 41 inches (105 cm) as if in the real cockpit. To achieve the result, I set InitialZoom=0.3 in the Virtual Cockpit of the aircraft.CFG, and WideViewAspect=False in either fsx.CFG or Prepar3D.CFG. This creates the widest scenery display in front of the wind-shield from my 8040 x 1440 monitor-combo, without the appearance of distorted scenery objects towards the edges on both ends ........... Read the setting on FSX Times Article 251. Some may not like the outcome. but this is offering a choice to resolve an issue I have not previously been able to find an answer to. Hope it helps some Anthony
  2. Hi all, I have been looking for a system to run my 6 monitors and a program called 'Input Director' may do what I need. If the program sounds like it will allow my system to do what I want it to, could someone please let me know. I run a computer with specifications listed in my profile overview (including a Nvidia Surround GTX GeForce Titan) which allows up to 4 monitors to be connected. It currently has three 27" monitors in lanscape mode that gives me about 120 degree VC view from inside the cockpit, and is okay on frame rates that I have set at 30 fps. The forth 24" monitor sits under the middle monitor and the gauges go on this. In regards to Tweaks, I have followed xxxxx's recommendations and all runs well. However like all flight simmers, I want go go the next step and put on two additional 27" monitors (one at each end) to give me a 180 degree internal VC cockpit view. But even on my computer with the specifications, the frame rates drop significantly to a slide show. So I need a second computer. I have asked for advice on multiple forums for a program that will allow this as it will require additional CPU power, and everyone suggests extra computers using WideFS or Wideview, but these are all outside cockpit views and I need to maintain the normal VC internal cockpit views and so am wondering if 'Input Director' program or anything else would work. If anybody has this program or can confirm this program will or will not do what I want, I would be most greatful. If anyone has ideas alternative to this, I would be really interested as well. Thanks Ravemtech
  3. Now that it is 2015, videos are up and it's the only wa y to go. I purchased the Captain pack for the 737 and it is fantastic, addressing everything you can think of. If your new to airliners, this now is a must have to learn
  4. I have just had the exact same problem after downloading GSX and installing it tonight. I accept I am probably at fault, but it is a bit strange, two problems exactly the same except mine was on FSX. At present, nothing seems to be able to get FSX back and it crashes on the opening scene (don't even get to the menu's page).
  5. Version 1.7 is known to be buggy, esp with PMDG. Go back to 1.6xxx and it should resole
  6. HiI have just upgraded to Windows 7 for FSX SP2 and loaded VotATC.When I talk, the writning correctly changes to blue, but I cannot here the ATC, rather I get static sound only.
