    Try loading your fuel using the CDU and not some external program (which is a big no no for the NGX), I'm pretty sure it is causing the problem.

    fuel.aerotexas is a fuel planner, not loader. You still have to put the fuel you want in through the CDU.

     

    That is, unless he is using the FSX menu- then I agree with you.

    I have a USB headset but i don't know how to do that, do you know some tutorial or can you explain me? :shok:

    Then you just change your aircraft sounds over to your speaker device and your voice (VATSIM or whatever) over to your USB headset device. The NGX sounds need to be changed over to speakers in the FMC setup under options and sound. Then the FSX sounds need changed over under the sound menu.

    I hope we can service the aircraft via some mx MFD options vs making it a simple FMS setup.

    That would be cool- imagine a screen where you could switch between different blueprint angles of the 777 and all the areas would be able to show up about what needs maintenance or fixed. Kind like A2A does with their planes just on a lot larger scale.

    Just out of interest, how do PMDG go about telling you it's been released? A topic about it or what? Or do they schedule a release a few days prior?

    Judging from the NGX release, they will let us know a week or so before, and then if all goes well we will have up to date info here on the forums. If I recall, a week or two before we learned the release date, they told us how much it will cost, so that could be a good gauge for it. But you never know- they might surprise us this time.

    The wind sound is totally realistic, and the volume is accurate. If you can get a USB headset, assign all the aircraft sound to speakers and voice sounds to headset. This is why they use headsets in real world.

    VREF + 20? It should be (as I understand it) VREF + 5 but don't hold be to that if I'm wrong haha.

     

    Maybe try to keep the power on just a hair longer and flare a little easier. I usually power off between 40 and 50 feet, then start a nice, slow flair at 30 feet.

    We'll be all over the first one to release. Jeff will have it painted in no time like he did with the NGX.

    Is that even possible now that PMDG uses clear windows now and not just painted windows like they did before? (prior to the J41)

    Totally possible. Extremely easy with the NGX in fact.

    We'll have to do a 77F flight one day! Hopefully PMDG or someone else makes the Panda livery for Fedex!

    I have a deal with one of our pilots that when the 777 comes out, we are going to fly the real world flight FDX8- non stop from Memphis to Dubai. The more, the merrier!
