Hello guys, I was wondering what the difference is between the NGX and the NG? I have the NGX 738/9 package, but in the menu where I can choose which livery etc, I saw it saying NG and NGX that caught my attention. Systemwise and visually I cant see anything different. Thanks for any help, Claudio

Hi Guys, I wanted to do an fresh installation of FSX. Well now I am stuck for hours with this Error message from FSX " Error 1606. Could not access network location \." I tryed every d*** "fix" on the internet, but my problem is still there, after 4 hours of trying. Does anybody have a clue, what else I could try apart from the 1000 different kind of "fixes" in the Internet, which dont seem to work on my system? Thanks for any help given.

Hey there, I was on my way over to Brazil with the PMDG 777,(maybe 20mins in flight) where I just got this error.... FSX just frezzed, and crashed... Does anybody know what this could be? This is actually a fresh install, with ONLY the PMDG installed, no other addons.... Threre is/was an fix... you just put the Mouse cursor in the left corner of your screen and your fine, aslong as your not using ATI

Yep thats why im changing back to Nivida... fed up with ATI... :-/

Download the newest driver for you GPU. I had the same problem 3-4Days ago, and found out that the new 14. driver for the 6850 fixed the problem. Regards claudio

Actually I did... I had problems with mouseflickering etc. I downloaded the BETA of 14.4 and it was gone... I am so glad, that I found out the problem... I told PMDG so they could let any other customers know, just in case im not the only one. Good work ATI :-)

Anything new on this? Didnt get any reply from PMDG regarding this matter....? I am only using 1 Monitor 1900x1080

Hey Guys, I found the problem. Its the mouse, when I go over buttons, it wants to change from an arrow into a hand, the problem is that the arrow or the hand is still seethrough, so it cant properly load the arrow or the hand(flickering as users it call) Now people say its because of the panel resoultion... Now i fly/desktop with 1 monitor at 1440x900/32.... in the pmdg panel it says something from 1900? Is thereany way of changing the panel resoultion?

Guys im having this exact problem, but with the NGX?.. Having massive FPS drops when it starts flickering... has anybody got an solution by now? thanks for any help given

Hmmm, I might just give it ago with a new card... yep tryed all possible settings, from very low to high etc, nothing helped..... Im checking the internet, but I cant find anything similar t this problem... but as you said, im suspecting a gfx problem too.... maybe ill take the card out and give it a good clean... maybe its just full of dust...

Yeah I might try to change my GFX Card... which one have you got Vaughan? Yep just updated the CARD a few hours ago... I just set the Frames to umlimited.. same thing... they are around 70-80's and they drop then to around 10-20's :-( I think im gonna loose this battle

I actually just tryed it on the default 738... the problem is there but not as bad... drops to maybe 20's, but not as often as in the PMDG... Damn this is getting very strange.... Tryed it on the QW BAE and its pretty much the same as on the default... drops sometimes maybe to its 20's etc.. but not as bad as at the PMDG... Currently I just have the default scenery, just to make sure it isnt any "scenery issue" etc.. EDIT: Just tryed it a couple of times... indeed it does drop to sometimes below 10FPS with the default 738... :o :unsure: :(
