    777 freezing

A bit late, but anyway, I did the following solution and they worked for me, no more freezes/ crashes, blue loading screen, crash to desktop etc. Create a new FSX .cfg Update FSUIPC to latest Go to playback devices, click on your speakers, properties, advanced, in the "exlusive mode" box, untick all options of already ticked Turn off autosave from FSUIPC Done a transatlantic flight today, no freezes at all. Yesterday, prior to doing this, I had lost around 2 hours of freezes in total in my trip.... I'd thought I'd share my solutions , seeing that there weren't all written together, but spread in various threads and posts in many pages...
  2. Thanks for the reply... That's a negative... * Tech Support Integration is Undergoing Maintainance - is the message I'm getting when I go to Tech Support > Downloads... Any other solution/link? Regards
  3. I have been searching for the PSS B777 paintkit for many days! I have tried everywhere... All the links are before the Avsim File Library lost most of its files due to the hack(?) As a result, I can't find it anywhere - they are all broken. My question is: does anyone have it? It would be much appreciated!
  4. TrevorS - Thanks, I have sent you my email address in a PM ... vololiberista - It's a problem to do with the actual aircraft, it's unrealistic... SMITI07- Indeed it is. I will try to mess around with the .cfg until I get the .cfg from someone else... Do you think you will be able to do it again, or is it impossible at this stage? Alex
  5. Hello. Firstly, I would like to apologize in advance if this topic already exists ; I have tried to find the solution, but I couldn't. The problem I have with my Wilco A340, A330 and sometimes A320 family, basically Wilco Airbus in general, is that it climbs too fast. I do not think this is realistic. For example on a hot day in New York which I just departed with my Airbus A340-300 (fully loaded for a 10hr flight), the Airbus was climbing at about 3700 v/s+ ... this is too fast! The plane climbs too fast initially, but then gradually calms down. For example now with 67 tons of Fuel, FL267, climbing FL350, I'm climbing with 1800 v/s with CLB setting. Shouldn't this be much lower to reflect real weight? Can I change anything from my config to make this aircraft a bit more heavier , like in real life? I mean on the ground when turning when taxiing , even with low speed it feels heavy, as it's fully loaded w/ fuel + pax. But in the air, when it climbs, I don't get this feeling. It just seems too light! Should I merge w/ Project Airbus? Project Opensky, or Overland? Overland has GPS that I used many years ago, but had a great behaviour Thank you for your help in advance :-)
  6. There is no error message! I just hear the warning error sound (BONG) and then FS2004 black screen, with half of menu missing, and right click is disabled for a few secs... I put my old .cfg back and no problems so far... Thanks!
  7. Hey there! First post in the forum... When flying around , especially on the descent/approach with my Wilco A321, flying online at VATSIM, half of the top menu disappears, e.g , it was Flights, Aircraft, Options, Views, Help , Tools, Modules, etc. half of it went to the other side, Modules, PMDG, FSCopilot. Then I hear a fatal error message. Then FS2004 crashes, I can't close it, (right click is disabled by itself, when this happens..) What do I do? I am running Windows XP Dell Inspiron 6400. I never had a problem like this , perhaps because I deleted my fs9.cfg due to a PSS problem... Should I replace it with my old back-up? Yours Sincerely, Alex... Great to be in your community! :Just Kidding: Apologies if this is in the wrong category !
