  1. ah superb Kenny thanks. I thought there must have been a way as PMDG prides itself on realism it would be a bit daft not to add lights along the fuselage. Thanks to all the help!
  2. OK Tigh, i'll forgive you. If we can help each other out great if you think the question is stupid it doesn't really warrant a response in my view.No doubt we'll speak again on another thread soon?:(
  3. I totally agre with you Dicko, it's a shame that 1 person here who shares a common interest with the rest of us has to be so rude such as Tigh.Anyway enough said from me, lets just enjoy our hobby.
  4. Many thanks Kenny for a sensible response, i'll sort this out.:( As to Tigh the post above the last one, thanks for pointing out this was an MD11 by PMDG obviously I wouldn't have known that after spending 2 grand on a PC, with TrackIR and multiple monitor setups etc. I am a very capable pilot and am flying this aircraft using my own flight plans all over the world, but I don't have the answers to everything. Please save your juvenile responses for lesser forums! :( I will however sort out my name issue. Thnaks also to the other sensible replies.:(
  5. Hi guys,Can anyone tell me why when I fly at night I get no lights from the windows of the Fuselage? :( I get lights from the cockpit when switched on but never anything from the Fuselage when in external view. I have switched everything on on thel ighting panel and even tried pressign the L key on the keyboard but to no avail. It looks like a ghost plane from external view. Am I missing something really easy? Many thanks,
  6. Hi Wanabflyer,I too run REX2 and am looking at purchasing the EzDok camera. Therefore as I currently don't have both I have not experienced this problem. If you are running in DX10 Preview mode try disabling it and run in DX9 mode. Sorry I can't offer any further help.
  7. I can't offer any in depth technical help as i've not experienced this myself (also running Win7 64-bit) but if you are running in DX10 preview mode try switching back to DX9 and see if this improves. Also check your video refresh rate which must run at least 60 more if poss. Oh one last thing try swithing on VSYNC in your video card control panel. Good Luck.
  8. Yep I know about the green box etc but forgot about the flaps settinf in the TO/APR page in the FMS, this could definately be my problem. Woo Hoo, many thanks again Jonathan! :(
  9. Ah right OK Jonathan, I think I remeber the flaps were fully extended and vaguely remember there was yellow writing in one of the boxes regarding flaps. I'll have to re fly the route and pay closer attention. Many thanks for your replies.:(
  10. I'm glad you sorted out your problem. However I just thought i'd add something to the mix. I too had the same problem and I resolved it by switching the fuel from auto to manual and back to auto. I do not know why this worked but it does and i've also had that problem more than once and it worked on both occasions. Maybe someone could explain? Ta.
  11. Thanks for the response Dave. However it seemed to work fine on my tutorial flights and I don't think I configured a button on those flights? I thought that when you click twice on the yellow yoke buttons it disengaged A/P as well as the A/T as well. mmm confused.
  12. Hi folks,After completing multiple tutorial flights successfully I decided to fly from Zurich to Palma de Majorca (LSZH to LEPA) usng my own flight plan. Everything went fine until I came into land. I usually disengage the auto pilot at around 1000ft AGL. I pressed the yellow button twice on the yoke as usual and hand flew the landing procedure. I didn't realise there was a problem until I tried to select reverse thrust, the throttle just appeared stuck at around 65%n1. I pulled back on my thrust lever but nothing happed at all. I ended up crashing at the end of the runway. Does anyone know what might have gone wrong? (I'm so annoyed with myself).
  13. Yes you should have no problems. you didm't state your video card ot RAM but as long as you've got a half decent card and at least 2Gb RAM you'll be good to go.
