  1. So with Vector installed, I have run the elevation tool and tried to disable and then enable KSEZ (Sedona) scenery and no matter what, Sedona airport runway elevation is always off. Any fixes or ideas?
  2. My PMDG Operations Center tells me I have installed version 1.10.630 and 1.10.6492 is available. I click on the "download update" icon and it brings up the update instructions to log into my account an redownload the installer. I've done that several times, modifies the 777 files already installed and still I see the Operations Center message telling me I'm still on version 70 and available is 92. Why won't it update??   3. PMDG 777 tech reps; I'm having a series of problems. Even after a fresh FSX reinstall, PMDG 777 install, eventually the aircraft acts strange. All other aircraft act normal. For the longest time PMDG 777 with all service packs worked correctly. Here are the problems; 1.) At random my throttles will advance or engine rpms will advance to full 100% on their own but not isolated only to PMDG 777. wondering if there is a fix for that or a bug in FSX. 2.) Main issue: Recently after I just did a fresh FSX reinstall and reinstalled all my aircraft including PMDG 777. Now after about an hour or more into the flight on Auto pilot, the aircraft will start to fly off course with autopilot still engaged. Then random failures will appear. If I go to disengage autopilot, the aircraft is completely out of control and tumbles in the air. All hydraulic, engine, systems go off line. Never used to do this if I disengaged autopilot in cruise. All service failures are off (not selected in CDU), FSX failures are all disabled. There should be no failures of any kind. 3. Uninstalled PMDG 777, reinstalled and still have the same issues. This time I uninstalled and deleted all associated files. Ran CC cleaner to clean out the registry. Reinstalled, still get the same problems. Now I try to uninstall the 777 from the control panel and I get this message that pops up after trying to uninstall; "An error (-5005 : 0x800700020 has occurred while running the setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: PMDG Simulations, LLC. (##ID_STRING1##)." Why can I not uninstall the 777 now?? Thanks,
  4. PMDG support; Due to multiple reloading of FSX, trouble shooting and removing/reloading of PMDS 747, my code no longer allows me to reload the product. Please indicate what or whom I need to email with my product number, purchase date, etc. to re-activate my PMDG 747 code. Thank you, RB

  7. Fella's, So my search has so far only found that the only way <?> to make use of multi-monitor set up for X-Plane is to use multiple PC's. Well not an option for me. I just build a i7-4770K rig and have 3x 27" monitors connected to my nVidia GTX760 card. Now with FSX and P3D, works fine and projection of the cockpits is to correct size,etc. But with X-Plane, I either have the image across all three monitors but so darn big its impractical to fly and view all instruments and out the windows or by lowering the resolution to my screen resolution it'll only be viewed on the middle (main screen) and then I have no surround views of the full cockpit panels and windows. Is there a way or am I doing something wrong? I can't believe this simulator can't make use of multi-monitors on one PC, at least I hope it can. Cheers, Rob
  8. All; I've downloaded and installed my Academic version of P3D_2 and tried to install the patch off the download page. I keep getting a "windows Installer" error pop-up window saying " the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, etc, etc." P3D_v2 is installed in the default C:\Programs files (x86) as default by the installation. Any ideas?? Rob

Over the last few years and multiple re-installations of PMDG 747-8i, this time I was doing a fresh FSX install and the message popped up telling me I've reached my 747-8i's activation limit??? how can I get PMDG to reset or issue a new one?   13. Yes, thank you. I already had that option clicked. Stupid me, I just didn't notice the passenger version which was up and left one row. I figured it would be next to one another and not separated by a row of airplanes. Anyway, it works fine with the PAX version. Good to go!
  14. Interesting, It only loaded one 777 in my FSX so It probably is the freighter version. But I don't see PAX version.
  15. With my CDU I notice that on the Nav-Radio page, I can not change the radials for either the VOR's or the ILS. Also there is no option for inputting NDB frequencies and on the front control panel, the VOR selects 1 & 2 only can select VOR, off or Inop at the bottom. There should be an option for each NAV select to choose either VOR-1, off, NDB and same for VOR-2 toggle switch.
  16. Am I missing something here? My 777 has no option on the MCDU to input any Frequencies and input courses, also on the front panel, there nav selects only can select VOR as below where normally on the 747 for example, you can select NDB. How can someone navigate manually if you can't input course, freq's, NDB's?
  17. I'm thinking of purchasing this 777 but it says for minimum performance to use a 2G Nvidia card? My desktop has a AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series graphic card with 1G memory. i7 quad CPU and 12,000mb ram. Will I have good performance? PMDG 747 and MD-11 work fine.

Ok so I've opened the file, copy & pasted "defineProperty("torque", globalPropertyf("sim/aircraft/prop/acf_prop_dir[0]")) from that Plinky posted above and I copied it to the first line of the file when opened and still the aircraft rolls left. It don't work or I'm not getting a good exact explanation of how to write in the fix.
  19. Hi folks, I'm new to X-Plane 10 but been flying FSX and older MS generation sims for many years and I have the Carenado C210 Centurion II loaded for both FSX and X-Plane 10. So my problem is that in X-plane, this C210 banks left constantly with about 5-10 degrees per second role rate with full power and when I reduce power to idle, it'll start to bank right at the same rate. Now, at cruise once power and prop have been adjusted, it'll level out the wings but this is not very realistic compared to the real aircraft. How do I know? Because I fly 182's and 206's. I know the 210 has more power but the roll rate should not be that fast and normally there isn't much of one at all with power application. So in X-plane there are plenty of ways to make adjustments such as through the Plane Maker in X-plane where I adjusted the aileron trim tab to a +01.00 in order to add more right trim but still does not address the roll problem with power application. Is there a way to reduce the torque effect? Torque should induce a left yaw with a climb and power added, and the sim does a good job of providing that torque effect to where I have to hold a little right rudder to keep the heading but left roll rate is not accurate at all. Anyone have a fix for this? I don't experience this on other aircraft in x-plane.

Thank you for replying Kevinh, Well I see your point and understand that but normally I'll download a flight plan that has been produced either with Commander 9 or in FSX flight planning, then load the flight plan ICAO on the initiate page that shows the company route and it downloads it automaticaly. The first way-point is the orginating airport, then the second waypoint is what ever has been planned and usually I make sure that 2nd waypoint is not so close that the aircraft can't intercept between the two waypoints, say 20 miles or something like that. Usually the aircraft will intercept and lock onto that course once I select VNAV & LNAV. It'll fly the route as advertised and I have it set up to pause at top of descent in the PMDG interface drop down menue. But lately, it started to do this odd issue where it departs the course line in autopilot and initiates right turns, as if it were hunting for a previous way point. As if the flight computer legs page was not in auto, a function of real actual CDU's. So last time this started to happen I had to reload FSX acceleration and do a "fix" reinstall because with the PMDG 747 only, it kept crashing FSX to desk top. And if I have to reload it again to fix this issue, what the hell is causing with the 747 only, these problems? I fly other add-ons with no problem. Even the PMDG MD-11, no problems. Hello all; Usually right after departure, I will manually fly the aircraft onto a intercept course for the displayed flight route, once in intercept range/angle, I will engage autopilot and let the aircraft intercept and continue climbing to designated altitude. I've been setting up routes and flight plans for a number of years now with this aircraft. Lately in the past few months I've noticed that right after departure and once autopilot is engaged, the aircraft will initiate a right turn and start to drift on its own. I have found sometimes overnight as I'm letting the aircraft fly a trans-continental flight, that it just kept flying right hand circles as if it were hunting for the next way point. I've tried to disengage autopilot, engage, use the heading bug to get it back on intercept course and then reengage and then it fly's ok for a while. It always happens right before the first way-point on the route after departure. It's as if after a while prior to the first way point after departure the aircraft drifts and can't find the next waypoint so it starts to circle. Always right hand circles. I've made sure all switches/FMC, flight plan, etc. are all correct as I've done in the past when it worked fine. I have re-installed as a "fix" and still it keeps doing it. What is going on????
