I'm thinking of purchasing this 777 but it says for minimum performance to use a 2G Nvidia card?  My desktop has a AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series graphic card with 1G memory.  i7 quad CPU and 12,000mb ram.  Will I have good performance?  PMDG 747 and MD-11 work fine.

My friend has a little better processer than me (he has 3.2GHz i7 I have 2.93 Ghz i7) and so he let me stick my AMD Radeon 5570HD in his computer and I got about 22-30 FPS on the ground, but 45 in the air

I have AMD 5850 and it is working fine. I am getting 18-20s at Fsdreamteam LAX with 100% AI traffic. I installed the shader mod though.

I am not really sure. I can't find it in the avsim library anymore. If you can't find it let me no and i will e-mail it to you.

It works, so far. Thx for the tip! However, zooming out in top-down view results in a somewhat 'weird' planet Earth view (see attached screenie) ...

 

Edit: Performance on my late 2010 iMac with an ATI Radeon HD 4670 (256 MB Ram) is acceptable, not great however)

Yeah, I have the same issue, but i don't care, because I don"t use the top down view.

I can tell you that after installing the shadermod, my performance with my ATI card doubled and is as smooth as cutting through warm butter. :-) A solid recommendation to at least try it out.

It'll be perfectly fine. I have a 6750 here and no probs. I get an easy 40-60 FPS. No shader mod, either.
