  1. Took the recent update out for a flight and wanted to test the high altitude performance. At FL250 with 2450 rpm and 31inHG manifold and -34C the POH says I should be burning 198 pounds per hour total and flying 198 KTAS. I am burning 332 pounds per hour and flying at 250 KTAS.
  2. Is it just me or do the gauges on the pictures just look like someone took a photograph of the real gauge and pasted it in? If so I would assume the gauges will be modeled at a later date.
  3. I would love to get in on this open beta, count me in!
  4. Solo in inglese , ed è necessario firmare il vostro nome .
  5. I only have a few payware/ memory using addon sceneries and the longest flight I got was KATL-FAOR which was 16 hours with the PMDG 77L but with all default scenery. I did VHHH-EGLL and got an OOM right as I was taxiing to the gate with the UK2000 EGLL, so I would say about 16+ hours with default, 12ish hours with one good payware airport and maybe 9-12 with two good paywares.
  6. Two things: 1st: You have to sign your first and last name, not just first name as per forum rules. 2nd: Send a support ticket, PMDG rarely uses forum posts to correct any mistakes.
  7. You do realise that there is almost a 0% chance PMDG will just make an aircraft because you asked them too? They will make aircraft they think they need to make. These requests mean nothing to them.
  8. Anyone here use the Wilco A340/ Project Airbus A380 merge and get horrible fps? With just the default PA A380 I get 45+ FPS and with the default Wilco A340 I get 45+ FPS as well, but with the Wilco gauges inside the PA A380 VC I get a max of 18 FPS and usually about 15 FPS which doesn't seem right since on their own I get 45+. Anyone know how to increase the FPS on this merge? (and please don't suggest upgrading hardware) If it's necessary (which I doubt cause it seems like an issue with the merge itself) my specs: Intel i7 940 @ 2.93GHz EVGA GTX 750 Windows 7 64 Pro 6 GBs of RAM
  9. Yea man how fast and heavy are you landing? Even with full payload and rejecting at around 180 knots it took me 2 tries to pop the tires, so how are you burning up your breaks that much on a normal landing?
  10. This same question was asked 4 days ago, a quick and easy search would've given you an answer and a solution before you even posted. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/451260-unable-to-upgrade-version-1106061-777-300er-via-operation-centre/
  11. Havent read anybody say this yet, so make sure you're also inputting the correct payloads in the FMC. If PFPX gives you 40,000 lbs of cargo put 40,000 lbs of cargo in the FMC and make sure your FMC gross weight is the same as the PFPX planned gross weight. I also end up +/- a ton or so of fuel which I'd say is pretty accurate
  12. This is because you are wrong. Those 3 buttons are for CPDLC, which I think means Controller- Pilot Data Link Communication. So yes, it is a datalink, but it is for communications between the pilot and controller, not dispatch which is what the FMC does. Those 3 buttons can accept, cancel or reject what the controller gives to the pilot. So like if you are in oceanic airspace and need to 80 miles left of track for weather. You ask the controller via CPDLC to fly 80 miles left of track, they send you a CPDLC message back saying 80 miles isn't okay but you can go 50 miles left, you can either accept or reject that message. To accept it, you hit the accept key and the controller will get a message saying you accept that and the controller knows you will left up to 50 miles left of track. if you reject it then he knows you need something else. But as of right now CPDLC doesn't work, so those 3 buttons wont work.
  13. I agree with Ammar. This question has been asked atleast 20 other times over the years and the answer is always the same. Just quit wasting your time already. If PMDG makes an announcement that they will make the 787 then they're going to make one. Until now the answer is no.
  14. So I've painted a few liveries on the 77L and 77F and the paintkit always inserted one window on top of the fuselage just forward of the left side cargo door, nowhere else and in EVERY paint I tried to make. Since it was just one window it didn't bother me too much and I brushed it off. But now I saw someone request a Swiss Air 77W repaint, and since it's incredibly easy I did it, but was met with an entire upper fuselage full of windows... and this was just ridiculous. I'm probably doing something wrong, since there have been hundreds of liveries without these windows, but here was my process: On the 77L and 77F it only put one window up top and I just dealt with it, but an entire line of windows is just ridiculous. But whats really odd is the left side has nothing! I used the PMDG 77W paintkit, painted the Swiss stuff on the Fuse Master, cut each part to Fuse1, Fuse2 and Fuse3 then flipped it and saved as a .bmp, then used DXT Bitmap Manipulator to save it as a .dds DXT5 Here is the image with the windows: https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5582/14863839672_c90202c089_o.png
  15. Here is a video of my friend landing into MHTG just before me on Vatsim a month or so ago, he had ASN running and hit a microburst on very short final and it didn't end too well. I ended up going into a hold for about 20 minutes while I waited for the microburst to die down and shot the approach and landed safely.
