777 P3D version won't update/

Featured Replies

My PMDG Operations Center tells me I have installed version 1.10.630 and 1.10.6492 is available.  I click on the "download update" icon and it brings up the update instructions to log into my account an redownload the installer.  I've done that several times, modifies the 777 files already installed and still I see the Operations Center message telling me I'm still on version 70 and available is 92.  Why won't it update??

Thanks,

RB

Did you remove any left over folders when you did the uninstall and than did the reinstall

If the installer isn't updating things as you'd expect, uninstall/reinstall.

I disagree with Peter, you do not need to removed any folders or files manually.  Just do as Kyle said and use the control panel to remove the PMDG 777 then run new installer.

Guess I read it  wrong  than  on how  to uninstall pmdg aircraft  than,  read  that you  uninstall  using the control panel  or  the exe   and  than remove any left  over   folders  that were  left  behind   as I my case  there  was a folder  that wasn't  removed  by the  uninstaller

All the extra folder stuff, as mentioned in the sticky thread, is optional.
