When I activate the the Fire Warning Test Sw only the Fire Discharge panel (under the glass cover) lites up, the Master Warning does not lite and there is no alarm sound, also the FIRE Acutator handle does not lite up either. Also the Landing Gear light test does not work.

What are the three Course KNOB settings, PRE, ACT, XFR, what are they used for, also what does the CRS knob PUSH CRS DIRECT do? Is there any source for a more detailed explanation of the EFIS sys and how to use it other then the little info in the airplane manual? Any source to help in explaining the EFIS sys would be greatly appreciated. thanks ress

Does anyone know if there is an Abreviated Check List available for the TBM 850?

I have tried the TBM Rudder in level flight with the Yaw Damper off and Rudders in uncoordinated mode, when rudder is applied in one direction I also get a roll to the opposite direction. I then tested all the FSX airplanes in my hanger and I get the proper response with a turn in the same direction as the riudder is applied. I hopefully this will be corrected in the near future as flying X wind slips will be difficult in the TBM.

Clickable Spots Sure would be nice if Carenado included a list of the clickable spots on the panel as others have done so we would know what knobs and switches are operational on the panels for the TBM850.

Can some one please tell me what is the exact file location to save an .RCD file with RC 4 In FSX. I am able to do saves with RC, but when I go the Load prev saved .RCDs it opens the " Name My Doc Flt Sim X File folder" When I select an RCD file to load and click on the Load Prev Saved Button again it starts to load the saved file but gets to 1 Bar and hangs up. I do launch FSX first and then start Radar Contact as per the RC manual. Why am I not able to load a saved file with the Load .RCDs button, I only see saved RC files and not any of the other saves I made with the FSX save menu in the folder, Is this normal. Any help appreciated. ress

E Mailing an FSX Flt PLn How can I send a Flt PLN created in the FSX Flt Planner and saved by E Mail to another FSX user. The same for a Flt PLN saved in Radar Contact format using Controll Shift ; ? ress

Thanks for your reply Ron as to using Radar Contact with GPS only aircraft and the FSX Flight planner without a third party Flight Planner, I am assuming the answer to my question is a yes. I am aware of the inability to use SIDS and Stars, however it would be really refreshing to fly an IFR flight in the Pilatus with out being given ATC Ping Pong heading changes and vectors that require carrying an additional in-flight meal service and a second trip to the Lav before final. Is it possible to make an IFR or VFR flight plan using the FSX Flight Planner for an aircraft such as the Pilatus PC 12, Bonanza or any GPS Equiped aircraft without an FMC and then export it to Radar Contact without the use of an additional Flight planner such as FSBuild? This would allow me to first become familiar with Radar Contact and the ATC system, and then at a later time install a Flight Planner like FSBuild. It would be easier rather then trying to learn RC, FSBuild and ATC all at the same time. Thanks again ress

On the Radar Contact site there is a list of " Tested" apps and aircraft. The aircraft I fly the most are the PMDG 737 and the PIlatus PC - 12, the 737 is on the list but the not the PC - 12. Does anyone know if the PC- 12 is compatible with RC? Once again, thanks all for your patience and quick respons to my questions on RC. ress

I am using FSX SYS 7 64 bit and the PMDG 737 -800 and the PC-12 with REX and find the FSX ATC annoying and frustrating, I would like to be able to fly IFR and Radar Contact appears to be able to provide close to a realistic ATC environment. My question is how will it effect my FSX performance and frame rates, at present with the 737 and REX I get an avg of about 24 frame rates and a smooth performance with an occasional lock up now and then. I am new to FSX MP and a friend and I would like to fly in the same airplane as pilot and co pilot using game spy. What airplanes can be used that will allow the NF pilot to activate all the switches while the other pilot flys the airplane. We both have the Caranado Bonanza and the PC-12 and the 737 NGX add ons and would like to use these airplanes. Can add on airplanes be used for MP, or only FSX default airplanes must be used. MP newbie

I would like to do a tour of the South American airports starting in Caracas down the west coast and return thru the central and east coasts in in 2 to 3 hour legs. The situation I am looking for is after a missed App and entering a hold, the airline company tells you to divert to another airport within your fuel range other then the alternate for various reasons, to position the airplane, to go to a base where maint is avaiible, emergency medical equipment available, etc. Joe Restivo (ress)

I downloaded and installed the PMDG 737 NGX about a month ago, and just installed SP1c, it said it was already installed, but went ahead and did the install. Should I have installed SP 1b first, or does SP1c include any changes made in SP 1b ? Joe Restivo (ress)

Is there a way to send a complete FLight Plan I enter into my FMC on to someone else to use as a flight also, and is there a way to store my flight plans as a company flight plan for future use. Thanks Joe Restivo
