Hello all, I know it wasnt compatible before, so i installed Fixer and POSKY 777, exterior is ok. However at night, all gauges are gray and windows are opaque in VC, when interior lights are closed, gauges are fine. Did i miss any setting in Fixer or it's because of the aircraft ? (I have the same issue with CLS A330) Thanks

Hi guys, So you think i can manage to use KSFO and KIAD from FB during night with Addon Converter X and Shader fix ? Because got both and no they dont fix night issues of these airports. ORBX is totaly different story though, they work after the fix, but not KIAD and KSFO

I am wondering why some lights of addon sceneries works under both DX9 and DX10, while lights of other scenery is only working under DX9... Can't we do something about it, instead of waiting months or years to get an update about the product we have ? Or is it more complicate than opening the file via photoshop and save as something else ?

DDS New Yorks is compatible with DX10, KIAD doesnt work properly there are problems with lights.. Perhaps it can be fixed like we fixex ORBX Global ? Or small edits on lights ? With Steve's fix most of the ORBX airports are ok but runways are still grey durin night. Did i make something wrong or it's normal that it's gray, fix doesnt cover this up ? Best Regards

Ok, so considering %20 difference in 4.2Ghz, should i go with 4.5Ghz + WC (Cooler Master Eisberg probably) ? I dont consider this option though, at 4.2Ghz with 1.455QPI and 1.4 something Vcore, it needs moaarrr power to be stable (after 70 degrees, BSOD) reduce values tho, runs ok with 4.1.. I'm pretty sure i cant go over 4.2 even with OC. If i'll be more realistic, i'd be ok for setup which runs ngx at 30FPS at lock in demanding areas with 0-10 ground traffic, 0-30 AI traffic (Ultimate Traffic 2) scenery almost maxed, not density maybe. Should i go with i7 2600K ? or 2700K ? or i5 3570K or (lol) i7 3770K ? I know that Ivy Bridge has problems with cooling, you have to re-apply paste etc. (TBH i'll ruin the chip, sure of it during re-pasting/removing it) I may look like a noob and i'm sorry to bother you such questions, i made some mistakes in hardware stuff before, and now got a little budget for fsx, i have no room for error anymore.. But gentlemen, i'm talking about new setup, not overclocking current one.. I have 18-22 FPS with i7 960 @ 4.2. And now i'm talking about to buy i5 3570K and overclock it to 4.6 or something (max possible with air) I dont have 18fps with i5 because i dont have it, that's why i asked question :huh:

Youre serious ? With i5 3570k ill get only 25 fps ? I saw on youtube and some threads that people gets 30+ fps with ngx.. So what do i need for running pmdg ngx, a nasa computer ?

Hello everyone, Currently im running fsx on i7 960 at 4.2ghz. However its not enough when it comes to ngx, im getting 18-22fps in virtual cockpit where is the most detailed part of the aircraft. Also got problems with blurries in orbx sceneries. I could buy watercooler system and up to 4.5 ghz but i dont think 300mhz of difference will solve my existing problems. So i decided to go with i5 3570k and new mobo. For further and low temp overclock ill disable ht. The vendor says its 4 cores. Normally is it 8 cores with ht or what ? Also i need 40+ fps with ngx demanding areas such as aerosoft chicago or orbx melbourne... Im using FSX BF3 and PS as top3 application on pc Maybe people whos already have similar setup may share their experience with i5. Im also writing the whole setup: i5 3570k Asus Maximus IV Extreme Z 8gb corsair vengeance ram at 1600 mhz Gtx 570 twin frozr iii Thermaltake 750w Got ssd for OS and normal hdd for fsx and other stuff Noctua dh14 for cpu cooling solution Best regards Sorry for grammar errors if theres any im writing from ipad

Well, i'm also helping people on another forum, which is free service. And i know that, users know that, moderators know that. Even if users dont have any idea that i'm not doing this with a salary, i'm not humiliating them, or swearing them. Hi, You can see white runways on YBCS (Cairns) and i believe other ORBX sceneries when you're flying at dusk, dawn and night, i have same problem on it.. About REX, i think list's poster said it about waves, because in DX10 mode the color palette is different, but re-applying theme and switching DX10 mode on REX solves it

Done, it asked ''Do you want to erase shaders10 etc.'' And i said yes first, but it couldnt find them because i already deleted the cache, then started FSX and re-applied shader tweak, this time it deleted and i started 2nd time. However like i said above, in dusk, dawn and night, runways are white in orbx sceneries, are you flying on orbx scenery ? Do you have the same problem ?

FAIL. :lol: Ok, i found the correct one which is inside of Flight Simulator X.. I backed up my General10.fx before applying first one (not the one which was file on avsim, values were on the thread) And still it says 'non-original' I also asked my friend to test it on his setup, he also has white runway on ORBX (I dont know if this was mentioned before) Also there are white buildings on night/ORBX, if only we have same texture with daylight and same texture with runway, it would be perfect :(

Re-running REX and set it DX10 Optimize option will give you the color you need for water. BTW, I wanted to try V3, however i have these files instead of General10.fx: General10.fx_0x0a40000009000001_0x0f... It goes on like this

I applied Word Not Allowed's guide, however FPS dropped more, so i switched back to venetubo site tweak, and added/adjusted couple of things inside. I also changed rams to 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance C9, 2T And more overclock, running 4.2 Ghz now. I gained 3-4 FPS on QualityWings 757, which is flyable now on 26-30 FPS (cant pass 30 since it's locked on nvidia inspector) But JS4100,and 737 NGX, i have 16-22 FPS still, which there's no changing..

Thanks for responses gentlemen, Paul J; I saw the thread couple of days ago but i'm flying on ORBX sceneries generally, and buildings' textures are missing on night, dusk and dawn with DX10 TheRedBaron, I have Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz, but i'm not using them since there's not much difference in FPS and texture loading.. Or usually there's a difference and i didn't notice perhaps ?

Hello everyone, I'm currently running on i7-960 @ 4.00 Ghz.. My FSX settings are somewhere moderate: LOD Radius: Large Mesh Complexity: 69 Mesh Resolution: 5m Tex. Resolution: 30cm Water effects: High 2X Scenery Complex. Very dense Autogen density: Dense And with these settings i have 16-25 FPS with NGX on Cairns from ORBX, also same FPS on KPHX. Should i overclock more, risk stability until 4.2 ? Will it give extra 3-4 FPS so i can use NGX almost smooth ? PS: I also dont understand how youtube people have extreme smooth flight with NGX, looks like 60 FPS or something on extreme sceneries.. The system BTW: i7 960 @ 4.00 12 GB Ram @ 1260 MSI GTX 570 TW III Corsair GT 120 GB SSD as OS 1.5 TB HDD ( separated to 3 parts, one is only for FSX) 750W PSU Gigabyte X58A UD5 MoBo
