  1. I'm not if this issue was ever solved but I remember Ryan saying a while back that this has nothing to do with the NGX, it's just FSX blaming the PMDG_737NGX.DLL. When he investigated it, the NGX had completely finished running before the error occurred.
  2. Trust me, after a couple of flights you will be using it every flight for certain! I've done about half a dozon flights and I can't fly without it now!
  3. I could be wrong here but I believe the APU bleed switch is the trigger, so you have to start the APU manually then also turn on the APU bleed which will then change the "EXT/AC" to "APU" automatically.
  4. I thought MSE was pretty good tbh, I'm pretty sure that was the one Ryan recommended?
  5. I experienced this for the first time recently, went down to around 5-8 fps with no explanation. Like you it sorted itself out when I went back to windowed mode and back. Would be interesting if anyone knows why this occurs.
  6. Cheers for all the info guys. Managed to get it working pretty easily in the end as my pedals have an option to change them so they both control the same axis. Therefore I could just map that axis to fsx rudder control and it was as easy as that.I imagine it would be a fairly longer job without being able to merge the axis on the pedals though!Cheers
  7. Hi,I've recently bought a new steering wheel for my computer and I'm wondering whether it's possible to use the pedals within flight simulator. I'm not sure whether this is possible as they connect to the steering wheel which is then connected to my computer. I don't want to use the steering wheel for control as I already have a joystick. I would appreciate it if anyone can offer any advice on how to go about doing this if it is indeed possible.Cheers,
  8. Hi, When I'm inside the virtual cockpit in the NGX I get some graphics issue that looks very similar to static noise often picked up by a TV which is very bad when on a night flight. Unfortunately I'm not at my fsx computer now so can't post a screenshot but can do later if there's not a quick fix. I'm using a Nvidia 560TI graphics card and I'm not experiencing any issues outside of fsx. Thanks,
  9. And like mentioned previously in this thread, they are perfect. No "Checking flight controls are free and correct" whilst still on stand like I found in one! Bet the ground crew would love that.
  10. Found them, thought it would have been odd them not being included! Pretty obviously location aswell, will look harder next time!Cheers
  11. Where are those located? I haven't found any with the installation, tbh though they're probably right in front of my eyes but I've looked at so many Boeing documents recently I have no idea whats where now!
  12. Hi, Are there any correct Boeing NG checklists available anywhere? I've looked on google but most "checklists" are often a list of procedures and the ones that are checklists aren't always correct. If anyone has a link to a good set that would be appreciated. Thanks,
  13. Ok cheers, I'll give that a try
  14. Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows any solution. When I'm cruising atc will for some reason vector me 90 degrees off course then guide me back on again as if for traffic management or something. However there is never any traffic on my TCAS or visually. This happens about every 10 minutes which gets really annoying and massively increases the flight time. If anyone has any solutions they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  15. Hi, I've made quite a few good landings using a VNav descent and STARS which are usually constained by altitude but not speeds. Obviously there is the 250/10000 speed restrictionsbut what other speed altitudes are often looked out for? I know there are no other specific speeds unless by ATC or STAR but are there typical speeds pilots aim to be at by certain altitudes/distances? Thanks,
