FSX Does Not Recognize GTX550 TI?
I am replacing my old GT9500 with a GTX550 TI I picked up . I did a clean install of driver 314.07. My system works fine, until I start FSX! I immediately get an error box stating the GTX550 TI does not meet mnimum requirements for shader support. I have looked into everthing I could think of, just short of reinstalling FSX. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Guys!

Long Flights are actually LONG!
After a few years of simming, I got my wife and daughter involved. We agreed on an AC, the Airbus A318 Private Livery, and use our local airport, KPHL, and have weekend "Family Vacations". We choose three legs and fly to and from places we want to visit. Our latest was from KPHL to KMIA and on to KEYW, with a direct return to KPHL. We also do the West Coast and Europe (Paris, Frankfurt and Heathrow). We have plans for Denver and Dallas also. LAX ,Las Vegas, Seattle and Portland are fun! Our long haul legs are kept within a 4 hour window for each of us. We do want ot try a real long haul like the ones I have flown in real life in the military, such as Sierra Vista, AZ to KSFO and on to Japan or Korea. Or, from Atlanta to Frankfurt.

Wouldn't you rather have British accent GWPS?
British Accents "The United Kingdom is probably the most dialect-obsessed nation in the world. With countless accents shaped by thousands of years of history, there are few English-speaking nations with as many varieties of language in such a small space."

Flight 1 ATR: Your thoughts please
I have been using/flying the Flight1 ATR72 for FSX in American Eagle for about 4 years exclusively from KMIA to KEYW. In my opinion, and remember, subjectivity plays a BIG part in opinions, I would start with a freeware and see if you like flying the ATR, then make a decision whether to move to the payware or another type of aircraft.

How do you keep track of all the payware airports you have ?
I have a folder on my Desk Top named "FSX Addons". Inside are folders for "Airports" and "Aircraft". Inside each are folders named "Payware" and "Freeware". Inside those are folders named "Installed" and "Not Installed". I also have a large, 3'X5" plastic coated world map I purchaced at a local map store for 8 bucks. I have each airport marked with airlines/aircraft used. I use dry-erase to ease updating. I keep all my registration information on a Word Doc.
