Hi peopleOnce again I have encounted another problem with FS9. The panel buttons (e.g. SHIFT+1/ SHIFT+2 etc) are not working. This is getting very frustrating as I always have to manually press alt and go select the panel that I want. Does anybody have a fix to this? This issue only happened after I installed the Aerosoft Schipol Amsterdam Scenery, I have uninstalled it and tried it again, no avail :(I would greatly appreciate it if anybody would be able to offer me advice on this issue :)Cheers!

Ah yes, back to topic people, I have just done a clean reinstall of my fs9 and things did not seem to change. Here is another instance, since its mentioned that FS9 is very CPU dependent, another friend of mine is using his i5 laptop @ 2.33GHz (same as mine) and running FS9 with PMDG and FSDT and getting 50fps! I really dont get whats wrong with my FS9. When I loaded it up with deafault scenery and PMDG @ KSEA hoping that something was fixed, I then got around 20-30 fps on my PMDG with deafault scenery. It really rings a bell and it is very frustrating to see people have the same rig as you and getting higher performance than you :sad:Should I consider reinstalling my OS?Just to add on, I'm haveing FSX installed on the same drive. Does that cause any interference?

hey psolk, thanks for your quick reply, to be more specific I was using the deafault cessna 172 @ seattle with 50% traffic and I was getting 30-40 fps and do i need to configure vsync in anyway? I used to configured it for fsx but I'm not sure if i would need to configured it for fs9 again. Maybe comparing with my friends i5 is a bit too unrealistic, however I have another friend who is running his 6 year old centrino with a 1.8GHZ and running fs9 with everything maxed out and still getting 60-100 fps too. So I think its something wrong with my installation or something? Or could I have some of you guy's specs and the performance that you are getting?

I can run FSX fairly well and I'm only getting around 30-40 fps with FS9 while my friends on their older rig can run their FS9 from 80-110 fps. I have also patched the software to 9.1. Hi there, I downloaded the latest version of FSrealWX from the forums. Everything seems to be working well. Its a good thing that according to my process bar manager that its only eating approximately 1000kb of my RAM. However after I started running this software, it seems to cause a memory leak to my fsx. With my normal FSX flight running alone, it usually take up about 1.5GB of ram at the most. But now im only left with slightly less than 1GB (out of my 3GB ram). Is it a possible cause of memory leak? I have done the tweaks by bojote previously and all work well until i install this. I'm now kinda scared of OOM errors with the current memory that I have,

Hi people,I have recently downloaded this autoinstall from a youtube video, which provifes a hassle free installation of the posky 777 with a few liveries. I then downloaded the XML gauges file and place it into the posky 777. As the livery i wanted wasnt there, i went to posky's website and downloaded the asiana airlines model which included the whole package, however, i took out the livery and download a exterior model of the VC which was SPA>OS772v2_PW4000_VC and placed it into the model folder, but when i launch the plane, i only see the XML gauges in the VC and the rest of the cockpit is black, help pls! ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

actually if thats the case, i would switch to XP10. Cos what i want is a flight simulator. If they can port over whatever mission they have and still have the global flight sim (like fsx), i would buy it. Hopefully they are only starting it off at hawaii and progressing to other parts soon...

Hi guys,This issue has been pissing me off quite a bit. Now when I am on approach or even final approach, the gauges on my wilco 777 freezes. The exterior of the plane also turns black. The only way to bring it back to life is by press the escape button and return to the flight. But after a while, the thing freezes again and the cycle continues. If I dont do any of this fsx would crash to desktop saying that it has ran out of memory. Now Ive lost a 5 hour flight to my VA and crashed my VA;s plane all thanks to the last minute freezing of gauges when about to land.Now this issue has never happen when Im cruising, it only happens when I'm on approach or descending. Now I have also noticed another trend, fsx tends to use up more memory as time goes by if I;m not wrong, either that or it uses more memory on approach. I'm now thinking of buying the FSX booster by FSPS.
