sorry, you either have to live with that s**tty wilco or POSKY for now until the CS 777 is released.

You, and everyone else.About the only complete FSX-native Triple Seven for FSX at the moment, is the AeroSim Japan one, and that is in fact a 'lite' simulation (no FMC). It can be made more like a real one with the addition of various tweaks and other payware, such as putting payware ISG gauges into it to give it LNAV and VNAV capability, ISG FMC etc, and adding Flight Keeper's stuff can give it an ACARs, with maybe the CS weather radar slung in there too for good measure, but adding all that payware stuff means this is not a cheap option, and a compromise, particularly in view of the fact that the AeroSim 777 is not exactly cheap to start off with, although you do get some nice scenery with it as well, and I did buy it myself, if for no other reason than to support a developer who was prepared to have a stab at the Cripple Seven early on. In short, it is nice, but 'lite' and a little pricey.Captain Sim have a Cripple Seven in development, and you can actually buy the beta (external model only) version of it right now, but it is a long way from completion, with no VC included, so it was in a similar state to their 737-200 was up until very recently. CS don't have a brilliant reputation where glass-cockpit airliners are concerned, with many complaints about their 757 over the years, although to be fair, I actually quite like their FSX 757 myself and have not had many issues with it, but this is something to bear in mind when it comes to deciding whether you want to invest in their 777 beta (which I have done, since I think they probably learned a lot when they made their 757, and I'm willing to take a gamble on that). It is possible to put the tweeked-up Virtual Cockpit from the AeroSim 777 into the Captain Sim exterior model, and with those ISG gauges and a few other payware additions, that will give you a good exterior model and a reasonably accurate VC with most of the functionality of the real 777, but as noted, this is not a cheap option, although if you already have things such as Flight Keeper and the ISG gauges, then the cost is offset a little.Aside from that, PMDG have a 777 in long term development. Expect some news on it soon incidentally, although it is a long way from completion. Nevertheless, I think we can assume it will be very nice when it eventually shows up if their NG is anything to go by. Don't hold your breath whilst waiting for it though. There are some other 777s about, mostly old FS9 ones ported into FSX, but they are nothing to write home about for the most part.Al

Many thanks for your help and comprehensive report.Looks like I will have to wait a little while longer though.

Yes I think your best option would be to wait for the cs or pmdg ones to be released or use the posky plane.I have the aerosim souped up with the isg but the Vc sucks (unless you like cartoony stuff).I don't even use it anymore.I just use the posky plane with the isg gauges.Much better imo

PMDG has one coming don't they?Best to just wait on it. Nothing else out there is worth it. You can be assured that PMDG's offering will be top shelf.

Get the title right would you?????

You're being very... um, angry tonight...For the time being (at least until PMDG gets their 777 out), I use the Overland model. It is very basic but it performs great and there are a lot of repaints out there.

Okay dude... That's two in one day... You are suspended for a week or two...

I would do exactly what Alan said too. The combination of the ISG gauges, and some other stuff added into the addon, will create a moderately immersive experience.

I was using the PSS/POSKY merge, but, i find it way too glitched up...so,i like many, am just going to wait for the PMDG 777....It will be worth the wait!

I didn't know you could use a pss/posky merge in fsx.I'm using the lovely posky plane with the posky Vc and the isg gauges.I find the posky version hard to hand fly tho.Maybe it'd need some tweaks. How's your pss merge ?

You can...But it is extremly Buggyit is,very hard to fly, becuase some controls are not clickable,so it's very hard to start the engines in the correct way, but even by pressing CTRL+E it takes 10 Minuits or so for a sucessfull Start :(

Ok I'll keep my posky one then. I like the posky plane. I wished it was easier to hand fly. That would be my only complaint.
