  1. I'm having similar problems. However, now I cannot map cockpit camera keys. Actually, I should say, my saved maps are all slightly (angles) off and I cannot remap them since the remapping won't hold i.e. Save Custom Camera 0 = CTL-ALT+0 then assigning, Load Custom Camera 0 = ALT+0 to my Warthog Stick won't work. Even when I just test them, say typing on the keyboard, ALT 0, the mapping hasn't taken hold. Stranger still is when I hit the mapped button a 2nd time I get a 2nd view angle that isn't mapped to any key or key combo. It's as if there is a mapping that is resisting my attempt to remap any key.
  2. Thank you. The problem with the fisheye effect while zooming out is global. Perhaps there's a *.cfg file I can find to edit.
  3. I'm not sure why this is done but I've seen this in a few games and it imo destroys the immersion. When one zooms out the peripheral first begins to develop a fisheye lens effect. As one continues to zoom out this distortion continues to move to the center and objects take on a unnatural appearance. This is exactly what occurs in FS-2020. You can see it in some screenshots and videos. While in the sim, in doesn't take much zooming out before aircraft become overly exaggerated, wings/fuselages and distorted terrain. Even while in the cockpit, panning has a hint of the fisheye effect. I have zero'd everything associated with zoom in the options but can not get rid of that effect. Is there a way to stop this unnecessary distortion? I've already gone through my monitors and video card but as expected are not the culprits. 4. I had tried that several times w/1.2. But when I got to the vegetation folder intent on selecting the 10-asobo file, oddly, I couldn't go any further.
  5. I have the TIR 5.0 clipped to a MPOW headset for multiplayer comms in FS-20 and DCS. However, the wire drove me nuts so I bought a wireless TIR. Grass Monkey Puck IR Comes with everything; camera, headband, IR and Velcro and for 1/2 the price of the TIR 5.0. In my case, since the MPOW is also wireless I merely placed the included Velcro on the headset and voila'. If you have/use headphones place a Velcro square on that and you're good to go. Works great and I no longer feel like I'm on a leash.
  6. No, I tried that and a few other routes. Kelvinr pointed out that the version I was using (1.2) is bugged and suggested v1.0 and it worked.
  7. Thanks a lot. I grabbed v1.0. So far so good. 👍
  8. Thanks for the link. I tried to get it to work but the app keeps saying asking for the install location. I tried everywhere C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\packages\Community and C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\packages\Community\official\Onestore\fs-base\vegetation These are a few, I tried elsewhere but nodda. Do you or anyone here know how to run the Tree_Editor?
  9. Thanks for the headsup. Will check it out.
  10. The link provided doesn't work for me. Does anyone know how to fix this? I can log in but I keep getting this message after the login screen. Oops The software powering this discussion forum encountered an unexpected problem. We apologize for the inconvenience. Detailed information about the error was logged, and an automatic notification generated. We'll take a look at it. No further action is necessary. 11. I have the following setup for my TM-HOTAS Flaps-Throttle Decrease Flaps = 11 Increase Flaps = 12 Flaps full up/off/down = 22/23 Spoilers-Throttle Slider check reverse axis and use Joystick Slider x Note: This places the slider to be full forward position (Retracted) as on most commercial jets. To engage simply pull the slider backwards to extend as needed. Mid way detent indicates half extended. Arm Auto Spoilers = 24 (forward = armed, back = unarmed) Reverse Thrust-Temporary location for me (I'm still fiddling with locations atm) Toggle Reverse Thrust = 7 When engaged push throttle forward to increase amount of R-Thrust desired.
  12. This appears to be a Hit-or-Miss problem. Some people can get all of their controllers running while others experience a mixed variety of success. The CH pro pedals should be set to the Joystick L-Axis Z- or the Joystick L-Axis Z+. Note: The Z- and Z+ are Left/Right respectively. Your result will depend on which pedal you push to create the map. Toebrakes will be Joystick L-Axis X (left) and Joystick L-Axis Y (Right). Verify via the "Sensitivity" button. The CH Pro will map but the setting doesn't appear to translate to the game. I have the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and it works fine. The pedals do not. I can map them but they are dead in-game. I hope I'm correct in assuming the following will be corrected but I have to say. The controller page options is terrible. Where are all the mapping options for switches, levers, buttons? How about dual throttle setup? Microsoft/Xbox Studios need to place this problem into a high priority asap and get it fixed.
  13. XP-10 Looks GREAT!The following isn't criticism, just two very minor questions.- The one thing I disliked about the heavy aircraft in FS9 and X was the landing gear during touch-down. Rather than settling it's weight softly on the gear, they all seemed to be landing on rigid struts, no give, no compression. Do the aircraft in X-Plane model gear compression or is it possible to model this via the a/c builder? This would give heavy a/c in XP-10 the impression, when touching down, truly are "heavy".- The wing condensation in XP should be more streamlined over and from the trailing edge of the wing Vs puffy, bubbling spheres. Is this something that might be changeable in the future?Just curious Sticks
