For BT fsx v7. Here is the easiest fix for all the Briefing time textures in the free stuff downloads.....Very simple and works with great results.Copy only the textures for the outside of the aircraft.(see example) to a new folder. Title the folder Texture.aircraft name.Also dont forget to add ui_typerole="Twin Engine Prop" ui_createdby="MAAM-SIM" to the cfg file included with the new texture.Folder: texture.Pacificb25_fuse_tb25_hsurf_tb25_hsurf2_t b25_m1_tb25_nose_twheelmaintexture cfg ( From preloaded texture).thumbnailThese are the main fuse picts in the texture file, and the only ones needed....For more information on this....Check the preinstalled textures for you plane. Copy the texture cfg in that folder to your new texture...and you are done....Go fly.Happy flights.....

Fred......Also look to see if you have a folder in the airplanes, file called aircraft......When i had my 2004 B-25, I found it in their....Once i moved it out to the main aircraft folder, all the planes showed up......

If you have any problems, come here.....Most everyone here is helpful, with information.....And Bill Rambow wont steer you wrong.....MAAM-sim aircraft are great fun to fly, and even the upgrades are still very much hands on machines...... If one could only get the hands on with the loading of the cargo.....

Their is a fix for this in the free stuff.....I had the same trouble with the B-25 textures..... Look for the transparency fix.

Can anyone tell me if the transparency fix for FSX, will work with added aircraft to the B-25 V7 download. Have some other paints installed but have black instead of windows in cockpit view.If not can this window problem be fixed?

Baran.Look in free stuff.....Their is a fix for the props there.....Its located in the repaints section....Right below the repaint for the Denver Dumper.....

So true OPA.....And it is something we should never forget....My dad and grandfather was in the marines....Grandpa was 1st division 3rd batalion WWII on guadalcanal. My dad was a marine pilot, sadly i wont be carying on the tradition. Me and my mom were in an auto accident, and i was left without the use of my legs, 5 yaers ago when i was 8. I find it so sad that so many have forgoten the price we paid in the wars for our freedom, and am sorry to see and hear about all the aircraft that have been and still are being destroyed, that took our family members to battle and brought them back....These planes and other vehicles are a part of history, and should be preserved for future generations....There are alot of planes that were destroyed after the wars, some of which you can only see in pictures. Like the buffalo. I dont know if any survived the war, Museums like the Planes of fame here in California, and MAAM. Do our country a great honor by preserving these great old war birds.... Some of us know what the colors of our flag stand for....But most dont see it.... I love our country and feel a great pride to be from such a great country, and i will never forget the price we have had to pay, for our freedom.. Amanda.

I need someone who can make 2 nose arts and paint for the MAAM B-25. The color for the plane is ghost grey bottoms, with 2 tone green camo. The nose art will be for my dad and me. One being a Viking warrior princess, and the other a viking warrior. Both planes i would like the shield from the side of a viking longboat on the tails. I do not know anything about painting sim aircraft, and my dad usually has very little time from work, and spends it with me flying in flight sim x...... Also. have the fsx download of Briefing time...MAAM-SIMs B-25. some of the textures are blured....Can anyone help with clearing them up, Have 3 textures i really want, but have black screen over windows and blured dashes.The planes are, Pacific Princess, pacific Prowler, Tail wind.

Bill thanks for sending the download for briefing time...Love the plane, now me and my dad can fly with him flying escort for me...And also sorry for comments i made earlier. Guess my dad is right, i should exercise more patients.... I sometimes get agrivated with my dad being on the road, trying to do homework for school and listen to my aunte. Seams like the only time i can get away and forget about this wheelchair is when i am flying in FSX. Well i have to go, have an early flight tomorrow morning.....Taking the mitchell and leaving the airport me and my dad created on Vancouver Island, and heading for Hawaii and then to the solomons....From their i havent figured out yet.... Do you know of a way to get the glass to show on the BT download V7.....I have downloaded a few more textures i wanted that the V7 download did'nt have, They are : Pacific Princess, Pacific Prowler and Tail wind. Also some textures are blured, can this also be fixed..... One last thing. I am working on trying to move the aircraft carrier Saratoga to a differant location.....The relocation files say to use the BGL compiler from the SDK....I have tried this but the ship does not show up in the new location.....Any ideas as to what i could be doing wrong....? The location i am trying to move it to is...LONGITUDE: W 124 25.47.....LATITUDE: N48 34.11..... HEADING: 221.00 This is just how i have it done for relocation...... LONG: W 124 degrees, 25.47 minutes.......LAT: N48 degrees, 34.11 minutes This puts it just inside a cove on the pacific side of Vancouver island in Canada..... Their is also a personal airport and 2 ocean oil rigs in this same area....

Hey let us know if it works for you.....I have BT 2004 download....I have also downloaded all the updates to use it in FSX....Plane is blured now, and BT causes sim to crash......espically when i end flight......Have been working on this for some time now with no results.....I have found a hundred ways that dont work.....I to love this aircraft and love flying it....hope this can be resolved....

apoll. I am having the same problem with my BT, along with other problems, all result in FSX crashing with BT......If i cannot fix this problem i may just wait for Vertigo studios to release their B-25 Mitchell....It looks a real hands on aircraft. They are developing it just for FSX, SP2 and Acceleration..... Its a sad case for briefing time because my 2004 version was such a great aircraft, and so hands on.....This update still dont give us the full 3-D cockpit, and the preflight, startup and taxi proceedures the 2004 gave us.....I assume the 2002 version had the same features.... The airport near my home has a rare stearman cadet. acording to the owner of the plane it was a prototype they made in a tri wing configuration, would be nice to see that in a model.

Yeah....A good model of the DC3/skytrain will be nice to have on the flight line.....Wonder if they will be redeveloping the B-25 for fsx.

Bill.... One more thing...Hows the restoration going on the P-61.... And is their any chance of seeing MAAM-im puting out a version of it for us simmers...?

Bill thanks for the info....I have MAAMs B-25 for 2004 and have loaded it into flight sim x.....It worked ok with the original update, but had no guages.....Have since uploaded the new update, and am getting the fatal error message..... I have tried everything to fix woth no luck....I have since removed the B-25 and miss flying it. Please let me know when you get the new B-25 out for flight sim x...... Also does anyone know how the SDK works for flight sim x....I am trying to move the aircraft carrier Saratoga to another location....I am useing the relocation files provided by the saratoga download, but she never shows up. Bill keep up the good work on these rare old birds......Hope to see the Avenger in the air one day.....I see chinos Avenger fly at all their airshows, and she looks just as beautiful flying as she does on the ground.....
