I've found the 738NGX a quite more slippery than real one If you look up chapter 4.21 FCTM of 737 you'll notice the rate of descent is about 1700fpm in clean conf. with IAS250, and i have been informed about that by Ryanair pilot as well. I hope there will be a patch that solves this.

I have just tryed again my headphones and everything was ok until i decided to unplug them in order to check the speakers sound and this happened: i had only engines sounds without panel sounds, i thought "ok, i go back to the headphones" but the problem still remained...ps: i checked and setted everything into the sound setup of fmc. So if i want to use the headphones i have to plug them before launching fsx, for the speakers as well...

I think i've already tryed to like you've suggested me but anything has really happened, by the way i'll try again to do like you've written up...it's starting to be very annoying... I will let you know, thanks!:-)

As i told some weeks ago, turning off surround sound and putting stereo mode solves the problem, but when i plug the headphones g35 with usb i lost panel sounds, only engines sounds remain.:-( Could anybody help me?!

Sorry but i don't have probably understood what you mean: i've headphone with usb plug so how can i chose where it has be connected?

Thanks, as i wrote in an other post, i fixed the problem doing as you've suggested, but now the headphones(g95 logitech) are the problem 'cause they don't make me hear any cockpit sound, and when i unplug them i can not hear anything, except engines, from the stereo as well...

Today i've resetted on page "pmdg setup" of Fmc the sound device and all cockpit sounds had disappeared! How many strange things are happening regarding sounds on my ngx...Could somebody help me?!Ps: i tried with "q" switch but nothing really happened...

I tryed everything and anything solved it...i've unistalled everything!:-(I'm so sad cause fsx was so smooth and i had no crash for the first time since i had it...by the way.

Hello Guys, please help me!I was testing Trackir 5 today morning when i noticed there weren't engines sounds on ngx.The strange thing is that i can listened to the sounds moving on ouside view or when i'm inside the cockpit moving the view to the left or to the right...Also the other planes haven't got engines sounds except c172 and b58.Thanks you very much for any reply!

I say again: it's not a question of Vnav handling, i'm not talking about the ways to set the vertical profile on FMC, i'm just talking about FLIGHT DYNAMICS...I know the story of 'slippery 738' but not 1200ft like i'm experiencing but 1800 could be a quiter real...

I hope PMDG will have a second look to get 738 closer to the real one...

Ok, but the problem isn't the way of flying using vnav, cost index and etc etc...but the b738 tendency to accelerate with slow rate of descent as well; as i've written some posts above with 250ias, clean configuration, idle(no bug, no anti ice) it can descend with max 1200ft/min otherwise you need to increase the rate using speedbrakes. Consider that a Ryr pilot told me that in the same condition the rate is about 1800/1900.
