So the heading on, say, an ATC radar would show as the 145 I was assigned, even if the ND was tracking me as 135?

Hello all, Recently noticed a strange problem with the heading on the NGX. For it to be on the correct heading, the selected heading must be 10 more than the actual heading. It's quite difficult to explain, but I think the attached screenshot sums it up. Any ideas on what might be causing it?

Do what it says; try again later. If that doesn't work, ensure that you are indeed entering the correct login information and password. You can use the forgotten password link to help you if you do not think that it is correct. To get rid of the error message you could clear your cookies. You could just clear them all from the internet options area of your control panel for IE, or from the internet options from the menu on other browsers, or, if you wish and know how to, you could clear the cookies for the PMDG website specifically. Hello, I always hoped that I would never have to post here, but oh well... Anyway, I start FSX Deluxe with Acceleration and both SP's installed fine, but when I try to click on one of the menu options on the left (multiplayer, settings, etc) nothing happens for a few seconds but after that a fatal error and CTD. I was hoping that somebody could help me out with this, perhaps they had a simlar problem and fixed it somehow? This has never happened to me since I bought FSX back in 2007, and a reinstall would be a nightmare as I have numerous payware aircraft, some which require money to redownload. Thanks.

Pretty much.. Yeah..

In the NGX, I was doing a full CAT3 landing a couple of days after I bought it.. Turns out that I failed at activating the right autopilot as well as tuning my NAV2, so let's say that the nose gear and first 10 feet of aircraft needed replacing. In real life, I was around a 25hr student, xwinds at EGGP, completely missed runway, landed on grass, killed some runway lights and my nose gear. There is a report of it on the AAIB website, actually.

I'm honestly looking forward to whatever pops up first. The VA that I fly for operates the 777 on a regular basis, but it is a shame to see these flights not being completed due to the lack of a suitable payware plane, modelling all possible systems, on the market. That is why I am excited for the 777. The 747 is an excellent aircraft on which I have flown (as pax of course) many times in great comfort and the v1 was very useful in helping me move onto the more advanced aircraft from the default ones when it was first released. The DC6 i am looking forward to since I have been flying with an FMC pretty much since I bought the v1 744 And I look forward to doing more VOR/NDB navigation flights.. Although most of them will probably end up as dead reckoning Nice idea for a thread, by the way.

You just need to host it on a seperate computer, which you leave on 24/7. Not something that I would reccommend, really.

Nope. It's just me. As others have said, the only people who even know about it are my wife and 10 year old son, both who take absolutely no interest at all.

I see it likely that a "Classics" subforum will be made. I am unsure about general, but I would reccomend that, for now, you post your comments in the DC-6 announcement thread, as that seems to be what others are doing.

I totally second that. Although it is nice for everyone to show their enthusiasm towards the release, and what they are expecting, etc. It is not so nice for people to be begging, even annoying Robert and his team for the release date. As we know from the past, PMDG don't do release dates, and that's one of the main things I like about them. You never know what's around the corner. (look at the dc6 for example - who expected that? HiYes, one v1 callout is from your 'First Officer' and the other is from the actual plane its self. One of these (or both) can be disabled somewhere in the FMC. (can't get to the sim right now)-James M

I will normally fly from my hub (EGBB) to a random destination (depending on how long i have) and then fly back to EGBB once per day. Nice videos up there ^ by the way-James M
