I think i may have done it. Did a flight yesterday from default RJAA to default OTBD. 30fps locked all the way with rex tutures and AS2012. Pretty decent flight! enjoyed it! Will try fly into some heavy add ons airport also and see. I followed kostas and use bojete's tweak also. Thanks again for all your help. Any more issues i will report back. Cheers Swadeep

You know I have been noticing trying a few takeoffs, I maybe getting there with tweak. Tomorrow I will do a full flight and report but one thing i noticed is FPS seems to drop only when i am looking forward. Basically the default views where you see outside and the PFD..that's where fps are being killed. Once i rotate views down or up to see just the cockpits and no visual of windows and looking outside then the fps is all good. Even when i see wingviews and see outside locked spot view i get nice 30fps locked (even i move mouse..no drop at all). But once airborne then the original view is fine with 30fps with occasional but bearable drop in fps when moving mouse. This is tested with KATL default scenery. However let me do a full flight and report back again. I don't wanna be happy just yet until i complete a flight. thanks swadeep

Hi. I got i7 3770k oc to 4.5 ghz....Windows 7 64 bit. 8gb ram and also gtx680. Similar to you I guess? But performance differs a lot..mind sharing ur fsx.cfg also please? I tried your way also in terms of setting fps to unlimited in both fsx and nvidia inspector. Smooth indeed but comes at a cost of stuttering. ..quite a fair bit actually which I don't like so decided to opt outside of this. But like you said, hopefully this is temporary until service packs. Fair enough. What you say do make sense and I agree with you. I guess the main issue people are talking about is why 777 isn't more performance friendly than the NGX. I understand that most people who finds the 777 performance worst than the ngx is just amazed at why it is happening when their ngx runs smooth before anyway and their add ons. But yes as you said at this point I will try your way also and i am sure others will too. Let's hope this works out for everyone somehow and soon. haha tell me about it. even i have been doing that. since released i have only done one flight! i hope SP will really make it more and more smooth. Gonna do another test flight tonight and see how it goes.

I was running with 8XS before with 4X sampling before formatted and the 777 was still having this issue. I didn't see see any improvements or downsides at all after formatted to be honest. But i will try as you suggested again and report back. I see people talking about corrupted installer? Forgive me but how would be know? If it installs then all is well isn't it? I use internet download manager to download the file by the way. thanks swadeep

i already set to 15 as mentioned above but i fail to see any improvements. I will try set 8 also and see how it goes. But I'd like to believe that my rig (specs are above), i should be able to get locked 30fps nicely but i am lost to be honest.

reformatted com and installed everything again and just tested NGX and everything was okay. Even the mouse pointer didn't cause fps loss at all which is weird. I don't know what's wrong with 777 tbh. Without mouse pointer visible even the fps in ngx is at least 30 but 777 is lower. Getting annoyed at this point. I followed the tweaks and stuff. At this point the only things i have installed are: PMDG 737 and 777 Fs Real Time FSUIPC REX ESSENTIAL PLUS OVERDRIVE AS2012 FTX GLOBAL No anti virus installed yet these are tweaks i did to my cfg [bUFFERPOOLS] UsePools=0 [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=14 TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40 UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=30 WideViewAspect=True FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.2 [GRAPHICS] HIGHMEMFIX=1 In NVIDIA INSPECTOR: 16XS with 4x SGSS Texture Filtering - off and 16x Clamp and High Quality Power Maximum Vsync 1/2 refresh rate Computer Details - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Intel Core i7 3770K Ivy Bridge @ 3.50GHZ but overclocked to 4.5GHZ ( i don't know how to say it, but the guy that helped me said it's like the cpu will to that overclock speed when fsx or games are used but when general use it wont. I have seen in CPU-Z and at idle core speed is 1600NHZ but when running fsx goes up to 4500 mhz. does that make sense?) Main Board Asus P8Z77-V PRO RAM - 8GB NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680 2 drives: C (windows drive) - SSD 60GB D (FSX drive) - Only FSX and all addons are installed here. 600GB WDC WD6000 Forgot to mention that I did set everything to 15fps in fmc and tbh dont see any difference at all. yes i had mine locked to 30fps in the nvidia inspector and i tried doing it within in fsx also but no luck...but something is strange...i tried loaded up at payware vtsp airport and all was well..30fps in vc! but other airports eg default KATL it goes down to 15-20...even yesterday while in flight soemtimes went down to 11-12!! this is really weird. i don't know what's going on. thinking about doing fresh windows and fsx install..maybe over wekeend...i just recently installed as2012 also...dont know if that plays part in anyway because pmdg737ngx seems to suffer to when i want to compare..at this point i am totally lost...so much for all the wait only to be stuck here...sigh.. thanks swadeep

At cruise when my vc views are looking at pfd and mfd and top half is windows i am getting 23-25fps only!!! when i change views to look only the cockpit, ie looking down at fmc etc and no visual of outside then 30fps. i don't have this with NGX. so i must say so far NGX maybe performing better. anyone know why this is? thanks swadeep

Hi guys. I think i have sorted out the problem. What i did was: 1. Remove all assignments in FSUIPC and started from scratch. 2. Assigned it all again (elevator, ailerons, throttle, rudder, left brake and right brake) on the "left side only" of the assignment page. Before doing that I click to send directly to FSUIPC first. 2 flights done and all is well. Hopefully no more problems. Will report back if any. Thank You again for all your help guys. I did try that but still having the same problem. All axis assignments are already deleted in fsx and all of them are assigned via FSUIPC. Even keystrokes. The only keystrokes that's via FSX is the ctrl + . for parking brake and . for brake i sent pmdg support ticket also and if i removed the fsuipc calibration then problem goes away but when i bring it back the problem appears again. pmdg telling me to contact pete dawson from fsuipc so i did that and just sent him log file but he said i am being fobbed off from pmdg so i am lost now. will wait and see what he says after the log files and see what to do. this is so annoying indeed. pete will be away for a week from tomorrow also :unsure: thanks swadeep

Thanks for reply. I do what I normally do as always and never had problems for any add ons. 1. Autobrakes set for landing 2. After landing autobrakes does the work. I tapped the brakes usually between 60-80 knots then disarm lights come on which means autobrakes are disengaged and I am now brakin manually. Once clear of runway and taxiing I set autobrakes to zero and that's when aircraft comes to a full stop completely. If I advance throttle now the aircraft won't taxi until I tapped brakes fully again. It's like brakes and held at max until I press the brakes fully again to release it. hi. i am sorry to report back late as i was away on a trip. i tried disconnecting the pedal and the same thing still happens. It's like once set to ZERO full brakes are applied and cant be removed until you hit the brakes fully again. any more solutions please? thanks swadeep

Will try and report back. But surely there must be some fix rather than the pedals as many are experiencing the problem. Before this I was using logitech g490 pedals also and the same thing happened so it can't be the pedals I hope. Anyway will try and report back. Thank You so much.
