As the title states, how do you guys live with autogen popping in fsx ? Of lately i have started to get annoyed with the constant popping of autogen.I have tried different lod, different multi for texture bandwith but it still pops up every second.I have also experimented with different settings but yet no success. So i wanted to know about you guys.How do you live with it.Is there any tweak that iam missing or is it just a trade off that everyone lives with.P3D v2.2 is an option i know, however not until PMDG get their products ready. I use FTX global and vector along with airport sceneries from FSDT, aerosoft and few others. Would love to hear from you guys.

My only fear is that with the purchase of the licence,it does not affect any current products in development(pmdg,fslabs,nls) or future products.I hope with this purchase, the developers are not sidelined.

How can i download this preset ?? Also how do i get enb or work with this preset ??

I would suggest that you submit a ticket, for the pmdg tech team to check it out.I havent noticed such an error on the pfd.Are you sure that the aircrafts licence is legit and activated ? Also its a good idea to sign the post with your full name.

Hey thanks for the update. Quick question. I know we are sometime away from the release of the SP1 and the 300ER, but regarding the micro updates, would it give a notification in the task bar(like windows updates) or would we need to open the operations center and check manually for updates. A honest suggestion would be to auto download the update and show a pop up notification so that we just need to click install.Call me lazy but i forget mostly to manually update all my applications.Thanks again.Cheers. B)

I do hope that if they have run into any bugs they are taken care of quickly. Although a small update would not hurt.... :rolleyes:

Hi James, I did eventually give up trying to use Linda and went with the combination of Spad and Fsuipc.Linda works ok with the 737ngx but no joy with the 777. As for the values not matching, i really wish there was a fix for that.

Hi Brian, Thanks for all your help and detailed explanation.I am going to read the manual tonight and try and figure out whats going on based on all the steps that you have advised. Just one quick question.Could i please know what is supposed to appear in the C:\fsx\Modules\linda\aircrafts\PMDG 777 folder.I have got 3 files in it.If you could maybe post a screenshot please. I believe it got to be something between Linda and the 777 installation that is not talking properly as my ngx installation works just fine. I am really sorry for all the trouble.This is my first time getting into hardware panels for fsx. Thanks.

Hey, I once again tried to assign a function to the ngx using the drop down menu in linda and it worked fine.I tired to assign a similar function to the 777 and it didnt work. I checked the file structure and everything seems in place. Another thing i noticed is that if i use SPAD to assign a fsuipc virtual joystick button and then create a macro in fsuipc, it will work that way, but not directly through linda. Yes the lights do come on for the gear when i boot into fsx. I also tried to assign a function from my logitech joystick to the ngx and to the 777.The fuction was the flight director switch.The ngx picked up just fine, the 777 didnt.Furthermore i have pasted some text that showed up in the console.Not sure if that would be helpfull in diagnosing the problem.It does seem at the moment that the ngx would work right out of the box with linda, the 777 does seem to have a problem.Could it be because of the sdk ? Also is there any special settings in spad that need to be taken care off ? I will read the manual right away, but if there is anything that you feel iam missing, please do highlight the same.Thanks. Hi Brian, Iam really sorry if my question or post came across in the wrong way. Yes i would assume that linda is installed properly, as when i try to assign a command to the ngx through linda, it works fine.However if i try to use any of the 777 functions, it does not work. I have read through the manual a little bit(guess i should have read it thoroughly). Right now if i press any button on my switch panel or multi panel and then try to assign a light function or system function via linda it does not function in the sim. Fsuipc is registered and linda shows all ok in the gui.If i try to assign maybe a light function in the ngx it picks it up in the sim.

Hey, I have managed to assign macros from fsuipc for the switches.However when i press any switch and try to assign a function from linda(pmdg 777 module) nothing happens.

Hey Guys Thanks for this program. I have a problem.When i bind the function from Linda as strobe on/off, nothing happens in the sim...Any ideas ?

Iam sure that the panel would increase realism, however i realy wish it would work as intended, ortherwise it would be a waste of alot if money.Anywhich ways its arriving in another 2 hours.Lets hope for the best.
