  1. I am wondering if there is a way to get SweetFX working in FSX:SE. I have seen where SweetFX 2.0 and possibly ReShade needed to be used for this sim, but I have yet to get it working. The text that indicates that the software is installed in the sim appears when the sim comes up in the aircraft display window, but no effects are present. I also have no idea how the operate the "Moderator" software that comes with ReShade. Is there any way to import the regular .txt presets into it?
  2. Hey guys, the other day I successfully installed the PMDG MD11 into P3D v3 and did a test flight with no issues. Today I installed the FedEx livery, and upon loading the bird, it now crashes the sim, giving the ATC.dll module as the fault. This does not happen when loading any other plane. I have not yet tried to uninstall the livery and load the plane, but I need the livery in order to do the flight. What's the issue here? Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 3.1.2.15831, time stamp: 0x5672b60a Faulting module name: atc.dll, version: 3.1.2.15831, time stamp: 0x5672b609 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00027083 Faulting process id: 0xe8c Faulting application start time: 0x01d140d0d2ab577a Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\atc.dll Report Id: 292db4b5-acc5-11e5-9ca5-9cd21e5a37de
  3. I don't have 2.1. I have version 1.4. But the addons are Wilco Airbus volume 1 and 2, PMDG MD-1, PMDG 737, QW 757, REX 4 texture direct, Orbx Global.
  4. Hello, I have been having a problem with my igdumdin32.dll file. It has been causing Prepar3D to crash when trying to do simple tasks. I am on a windows 8 64-bit system. Apparently this is an Intel file. I have gone to the site and made sure all my drivers were updated, but it is still crashing no matter what I do. What could be causing this?
  5. Yep. Ended up being the ENB. Are there any other mods that I could get that would not effect the sims stability?
  6. I have the CLS DC-10 and I know this has probably been asked before, but are there any lines that I could replace in the aircraft cfg to make it perform in a realistic manner? I have tried flying it and I think it is just a waste because it is flying so stiff-like. I can pull back on the stick and be barely climbing. I have tried trim, but that is not the best combo as the plane just starts to climb out of control and I can't even push the nose down. It also does a horrible job at leveling of because of this. I may be climbing at 1800fpm and it will continue it when I have reached 500 feet over said altitude. Then it takes its time at correcting causing ATC to freak out. Or if there is nothing for the CLS DC-10, is there anything for the Thomas Ruth DC-10 flight dynamics. Which are way too sensitive. I can to all types of stunts in it.
  7. I have been attempting to open the aircraft menu in Lockheed Prepar3D, but each time I try, it crashes to the desktop. I have tried repairing P3D because of my recent attempt of installing ENB series, but that wasn't the problem. I have imported several of my FSX addons to the sim and they work with no problem. I recently installed a new livery to my QualityWings 757 which was working perfectly, when I installed the new livery, it stopped. I will try to uninstall the QW 757 to see if that's my problem. If not, then I don't know what is. Thank you
  8. I am having a big problem with the QWSim 757. I set my plane up for takeoff using a checklist. I checked everything and set the trim. I line up on the runway, and set takeoff thrust. When my plane reached 75 knots, it automatically pitched to 50 degrees nose up pitch while the main gear was still on the ground. This made the tail drag the entire runway. The plane finally got airborne, but wanted to pitch up more. I have tried takeoff without trim at all, but it still does the same exact thing. Pitching up extremely before speed even reaches V1. Before it even gets to 80 knots. What is causing this? I have checked the balance and the plane is not tail heavy at all. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
  9. Nice. When I switch it over it shows Mach .80 so I guess I have everything right.
  10. ive checked the realism settings, and the alarms would be sounding if the gear and flaps were still down in the ngx
  11. I cruise at around FL340-360. I was so used to flying in true airspeed I think. It used to allow me fly above that for some reason I could set my speed control to 450 knots and actually be at 450. Now the red line shows up at 330. It has seemed to bug the entire sim as far as payware the PMDG ngx only allowed me to cruise at 250 all the way up. That's where the red lines were. But I think that was because of the cost index I set, but it doesn't matter for the 757
  12. I have the qw757, and for some reason it seems like the speed tape is set to KIAS, I would like it to be set to true airspeed. When cruising, I can only fly at speed 330, which that's the max IAS speed in the aircraft cfg. This problem has just started, as before, I could cruise at my normal speed of 460 kts. I don't know what happened as this has just begun. P.S. I have checked and set the default settings as i prefer to have it set to true airspeed. Also, isn't 330 ias pretty fast in knots?
