  1. CS777, design= OK and little but too much (not just a little), but what about systems? Some systems just now being implemented or still not. CS has too much unnecessary features: lavatory? who cares....Done with Captain Sim products forever.

I totally agree with you. I don't own any Captain Sim product and everyone I asked said: "Framerate killer number 1".

And another thing about the systems in the CS products, a member at the CS forum said that PMDG isn't as good as the CS 777 because it has no WXR radar and no EFB.

    I laughed about that .

  2. As Kyle says, weight is weight, be it people or bricks. As long as it is distributed correctly, the plane flies exactly the same...

You're right of that. But then PMDG could have made a 5/10/20 (35 pax) config. and we can add more weight so it is like 290.

Why we get one of the largest airplanes if it almost has the seat capacity of a fully loaded 737-900ER which are max. 215 pax?

172 economy passengers are way too less. I only hope the -300ER gets more seats than 290

  3. PMDG already has the Flap Limit texture of the -200/ER and normal -300.

The Flap Limit on the -200/ER and normal -300:

       1   - XXXK
    + 5   - XXXK
       15 - XXXK
       20 - XXXK
       25 - XXXK
       30 - XXXK

and on the -200LR/LRF and -300ER: [without the cross at Flaps 5 (+) and they with space left at Flaps 1 and 5 ( they're now above the five of Flaps 15 and not anymore over the one of Flaps 15)]

      1 - XXXK
      5 - XXXK
    15 - XXXK
    20 - XXXK
    25 - XXXK
    30 - XXXK

Anyway. I want the -200/ER and -300 with RR and PW more than an Electronic Flight Bag.

  4. I want the -200ER for sure, like the other 697 members  B)

What is Included:  The base package will include the 777-200LR and 777F airplane.  The 300 series airplanes will be included in an expansion package, similarly to what we did with the 737-600/700.  We are still reviewing how to roll the 200ER and previous models into the entire package- as they have VERY different systems, flight models, sound models and engine models in many cases and these differences need to be coded into the sim.  I'll get back to you with more information on that as we make those decisions...We might even stuff the ER into the base package if testing drags on...we'll see!)

I quoted the "What is Included" from the March previews. I really much hope that means they'll definitely make the -200ER and normal -300 with PW and RR engines.

  5. I'm really glad someone noticed this actually - it's something I started asking Vin to take a look at after I flew the level D 777 simulator last year. We did a full audit of that part of the cockpit a few test versions ago and realized that a couple measurements weren't right - went back and had them redone and it looks great now. You get much more of a sense of how confined these cockpits really are now because the view out the front is more constrained and the overhead is much closer to your "head" now. We're planning to revisit this in the NGX as well for SP2, so don't be surprised if the dimensions change a bit there too - it will be quite a noticeable change for people used to the view you get currently in SP1c.

That sounds really promising Ryan. One question, I don't have any experiences with Servicepack but I guess they are offered for free right?

  6. I know people who do exactly what you suggested though - aircraft sound through speakers and then VATSIM/IVAO ATC voice in their USB headset.

I'm sorry that I've called the wind sound as loud. Something messed up with my FSX sound settings. I looked up in the NGX Introduction PDF and now everything sounds as it should..

  7. They said last shot for the week and then five minutes into the new week here in Germany we get an awesome picture of my second favourite aircraft in the 777 family.

Thank you PMDG and Luke, thank you for sharing.
