On the screen now, enable emoticons is checked but my whole reply box is dulled down, and wont let me select anything - colours, text size or anything.

Can we have an ils only model? Default panel cfg's are intimidating enough, the MD-11's is just way out of my league.<br /><br />I'm not sure pmdg would want me to bugger this up just for to to have to reinstall again(Due to prior issues with licensing).

Hi Bryan, I posted in the MD-11 forum also, and had some replies, - seems to complicated for me, editing panel.cfg's adding FSC gauges renaming windows etc etc then the word "risk" came up, and from then it was a done deal - where there is risk involved I am sure to find it and get hit by it. When I click on the weather options for FSC and hit the browse button, were/what am I looking for? I see I am looking for file containing metars, but which cfg file am I looking for? Thanks EDIT: I think I have it - F:\AS2012_log.txt, - is this correct?

Hi Oliver, thanks Yes fs2crew uses 2 windows,- windows 48/49 - there are so many panels on the md11 I do not use, - can I not use one of them? ie the 2d overhead - I shall never ever use that, so surely it can be configured to "overwrite it? - I have no idea what I'm talking about - just a stab in the dark. I shall have a look at the docs, but I do not want to mess about with "gauges" tis and that, as I have messed too many installs of everything to have to do it all again Thanks

Hey folks, Currently I use fs2crew with this bird and looking into getting FSC, I am trying the demo, but cannot get the mcdu to display - possibly due to the 49 window thing? - when I install it using the FSC acars installer, the acars gauge goes into "50" FCDU" but it does not display, - is this because I have already reached my "49 windows" How do others configure this? - I have it installed in the caravan 208 and it seems to work ok. I will also post this in the fs2crew forum, to try get more hits I will have a few other questions, like configuring callouts etc etc, but all in good time Thanks

Hi, I am looking for better mesh for europe that IS compatible with utx and gex, i know fsscene is not, and i do not know of orbx europe. I pretty much only fly in europe so where does that leave me? I do not want photo scenery, as i do not want a flat looking sim, i like autogen, even tho the majority of it isnt accurate. Afaik orbx will replace my utx and gex. Regards

If there is no support then that puts me right off buying it, full stop, if he had a forum that no longer exists then that puts me even more off. I do expect minor anomalies, maybe yours (dave) are a very rare occurence but that would.put me off also, so for me its not looking good at all. Hey joe thanks. Well its my birthday in 3 days so hopefully the wife takes pity on me (and justin) and gives me money, my mum should be giving me money too, sp hopefull that should cover it. Someone did say to me the other day about the global beimg free but still better than default. Ps i blame all the typos on my rubbish phone which i should really get a new one, but a new phone will not make fs look any better. Thanks
