    It's actually pretty boring - the news are coming out with all kinds of rubbish: What will she be doing in preparation for the birth? what will she be doing leading up to the birth? what will the first things she will do after the birth? How important is it for her to have skin to skin contact? They talk as if they are the only couple to have kids. There was so much more...... Yes its the news I get it, but they string it out sooooo much!! My guess is its not Williams - I reckon its harry's!! now that would be news!

  4. AS2012, no I don't use dep/dest part of AS, and never have and I use 4826 - the latest. I don't know why I couldn't see the images that I posted in the other topic, maybe tom deleted them, - I will have a look through my pc to see if they are still there. in AS, I always have that dialogue box that gives me the choice of low vfr etc, and if I am ifr then I use the ifr option, and ~DWC. What is strange is that (like before) but this time its only appened once - even though all AS settings are the same as the day befores etc etc - no settings have been changed to warrant "some error" etc.

  7. Yes I always pre-booked tower, - daft not too (no offense it does give pilots a good idea whether they will make it to my airport "on time" or not. But yes, I would be on it pretty much full time - I even done a few "all nighters" which the wife was not too pleased about. The uk do/did have regular-ish events, but I cannot speak for them now/lately as I have not been near vatsim for around 4 years+ due to my daughter being born(also because I got bored I guess, but mostly the daughter)
  8. It's hard work being a controller on VATSIM. When I first joined, I manned EGPH constantly, even got iron mics single handedly, gets very tedious just having 4 or 5 A/C in an 8 hour period week after week - granted there are other things that you can do while waiting on traffic, but even at that - there are only so many youtube videos that one can watch etc etc. They say "build it and they will come" but "it never came" really.
  9. Yes I use fsinn, but fsinn's weather is disabled, - my tat is showing +55, and I use active sky 2012. It did this once before I started flying online.
  10. quick md11 question here - I am stuck at FL247 with my EGT stuck @ 638, how do I fix tis to climb higher? I have no warnings, or lights lit up on the overhead. Paul
  11. I am thinking about biting the bullet with the next Europe mesh. It comes with the worldwide mesh. I know they/it works with UTX and GEX, but how is it all installed? I presume worldwide first then the Europe NEXT afterwards. Is it easy enough? I did ask before but cant seem to find where I asked it. Paul

Thanks guys, @bread - ok I didn't know that, I always put ils freq in manually, the panics I've got into while trying to search for charts online looking for it. @Jonathon, I hit APR to arm landing (land armed highlights) then when I am going down the loc I get my dual land, (from memory) it, then would change itself to loc only, appr only. The "appr only" as you describe is what has been happenening where A/P disengages and leaves me to fend for myself - (anything above having to hit F2 on landing leaves me in a panic :unsure: ). Thanks for the in-depth description - I tried looking at the manual once before and thought "oh dear" and it's not been out since!! I'm not good at reading stuff I don't understand, - I can read, but when there are so many abbreviations for stuff, it goes right over ones head! Thanks again guys

Hi markus, thanks All my speeds are controlled by my fmc anyway - i notice that the fmc slows me down way too early, so i have to manually raise my speeds by raising it and right clicking the knob. I normally am at full flaps(35) well by 1000ft, as i say - about 1800 its gear down then once thats done i hit full flaps (fs2crews order). Could this also be why when i hit the ils, i do not go down the glideslope? i do turn and get the callouts that its alive, but wont start to descent - even though im at the 3000ft(or whatever height required).   17. Markus, You are a star, so basicly full flaps by 1500ft, I normally drop my gear about 1800ft, and then give it 35 flaps, so in that case I must be just lower than the 1500ft that's required. whats RH? Regards Paul

  22. Hey folks, - despite following apollos web(larry) instructions to a tee, and tried other methods according to youtube. I still get two runtime errors, 1X400 and 1X372, and I also get an mscomctl.ocx fscopilot error. any help would be greatly appreciated. And for those that may get a scenery 115 not found error - (in my case) in addon scenery just make a new folder named "scenery" and that fixes it Thanks. Win7, uac disabled, tried running fsinnui as admin, tried running normally, tried running fsx as admin, and tried without. SOLVED
