  1. I fly in windowed mode and with the menu bar showing along the top. When I want to video a flight, I first record it with FS Recorder and save the file. I then make sure my aircraft is located at the same starting airport or airfield as in the recording (important). I then start playing back the recording and immediately hit Alt-Enter. That removes all the bars and borders. I then start recording it with Fraps. When finished, I hit Alt-Enter again to return to the original settings. Using FS Recorder means you can change the viewpoints and angles during the playback, independently of any angles you used during the original flight. You can also set the FS Recorder file to playback your recording as traffic, which allows you to fly another aircraft alongside your original one.
  2. I'm typing this while at FL260 at night and in gentle conditions, on my first flight after the service pack. My current readings are OAT -36c., IAS 217.5, Trq 120.0, RPM 2000, fuel flow 66, Bleed Auto, GS shown on the G1000 is 320kts. (nothing on the performance charts for FL260, -36c and 217.5ias). Flying in a gentle circle in an attempt to even out the wind effect produced ground speeds as shown on the G1000 of between 315kts and 323kts. Repeating two circles produced identical readings (= average of 319kts). These are readings from only one flight of course, and in only gentle winds, but it is encouraging.
  3. I'd go with the PC-12.
  4. I did so again, and this time a web page opened in my browser, enabling me to enter the required PayPal details and complete the transaction. The Baron 55 has installed successfully and I am making a first flight as I'm typing this. Thank you very much for sorting this out for me.
  5. I used the one above the Buy button that contains all of the coupons.
  6. Well, I followed the instructions when trying tio buy the Baron 55, including turning off my anti-virus, but despite several attempts to pay via PayPal, it kept rejecting it on the grounds of a missing logon, which I wasn't given the option to make. I wish to use PayPal, so I sent an email to MilViz and am hoping it can be sorted.
  7. The remaining parts of northern British Columbia, the Yukon and the NorthWest Territories of Canada would be my choice.. I realise that is a big area that might not get done all at once. I would like to see the rest of northern British Columbia added as a start, though. There's some spectacular mountain and lake flying to be had there and a good number of small airports..
