Recently I have been having a problem with A&Os where it crashes and closes. With the "Select Simulator Event" window or the "Select Simulator Variable" window open, when I left-click to select and right-click to copy, Axis and Ohs crashes and closes. It turns out that this happens because I recently installed Touch Portal (which I love). As long as Touch Portal is running (I have it set to start with windows), A&Os will crash with this copy-paste operation. If I close Touch Portal, the problem is gone. Not a major inconvenience, just a nuisance really. Has anybody else had this problem? Does anyone know how it could be fixed? Any suggestions appreciated.

Each time I start the add-on it asks for my name, e-mail address and serial number to activate. Any fixes for this appreciated.

Oh, yes Greg, I installed the P3D 4.5 Hotfix ages ago after buying TrueEarth GB for P3D

I did not migrate, just installed FTX Central 4 and let it update three or four airports

I'm not sure about the hotfix? but Central 4.0.0 has been updated to 4.0.2 I've just restored my add-ons.cfg, scenery.cfg, scenery_add-ons.xml, SceneryStatus.bin and terrain.cfg That has put me back to 4minute and 39 second load time from 21 minutes and 25 seconds mentioned above and also, the ground looks lovely once again after departing from EGLL. I'm reinstalling FTX Central 3.3.9.2, uninstalling 4.02 and then undoing everything else Central 4 did yesterday. I might try again later but as always, thanks to my daily backups of everything (recommending AOMEI Backupper Pro which has saved my life on many an occasion). Extremely disappointed with ORBX on this one though. Having purchased over 120 of their products I don't expect to be a BETA Tester unless something is noted as being BETA. Without my daily backups I don't know how much time this would have cost me.

Scary indeed Stan. I've just loaded P3Dv4.5 for the first time since upgrading to Central 4.02. I have an 8700K CPU at 5000Mhz with 32GB RAM and an RTX 2080 TI overclocked with 11GB RAM. Everything is on SSD. Prior to ORBX Central 4.02, my load time for the TFDI 717 at EGLL was 5 minutes and 7seconds and everything looked great with all things ORBX. My load time today was 21 minutes and 25 seconds of which 17 minutes and 50 seconds was just looking at 6% If that's not bad enough, Once I'm out of the airport all the ground textures look like garbage. I'm not sure what I'll do from here, try to restore from my backups, spend a day or so investigating what ORBX has done to me or spend a month reinstalling P3D. IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME 😞

I've always criticized all those people lined up outside a department store for a sale or those Apple freaks lined up outside a store for that brand new iPhone. Now I'm one of them - AND YOU ARE TOO!!!!🙂

Hey Dave, Just a suggested added feature if it's not that complicated :-) I'm just looking at all that empty space in the RHS Column under the Config button thinking how lovely if would be if we could configure our sim locations in config and (if populated) have launch buttons appear for P3D4, X-Plane etc. Still lovin' Pilot2ATC. Thanks for the reply Dave. It definitely does not work on my system. The size is being remembered but when I load, it is on the wrong monitor (1 instead of 2) as that is not remembered . If I drag Pilot2ATC to the desired monitor (1) and later hit the down arrow on the bottom LHS of Pilot2ATC, then the alternative screen jumps across to monitor 1 and has to be dragged back to monitor 2 Where are the positions saved? Are they saved in an .ini or .cfg file or in the registry somewhere where I can dig for answers? I have a "C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Pilot2ATC_200" folder which contains a sub folder of the same name "Pilot2ATC_200" and in that sub folder the following sub folders 2.2.2.1, 2.3.0.0,2 .3.0.1, 2.3.0.2, 2.3.1.0 All folders are empty so, nothing stored in any of these folders regardless of the permissions set or whether or not I run Pilot2ATC as administrator. I have a "C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200" folder which contains AppConfig.xml and Settings.xml which are updated on every use of the program and also ChatterTracker.xml and GrmrHelperData.xml but noe of these seem to contain screen positions. The .mdf and .ldf files in H:\Progs\Pilot2ATC_2016\Data are also being updated on every use. Any further help greatly appreciated. Regards Kym

Is there any way I can get Pilot2ATC to remember which monitor (and preferably position and size also) I want it to start on. It's quite an annoyance having to move and position it from my 4K monitor(1) to my 2K monitor(2) every time I load it. I can't find a setting for this or a registry setting. If this is not possible, I'd beg for it to be added to the next update. :-)

Ah - thanks so much Keven. Spoke too soon - I get nothing when typing dropit (i assume in Search Box in Preferences) OK anyway. I reassigned the three buttons previously assigned to dropable objects and the went back and deleted those assignments and the buttons are now free.

Am I going nuts? I've searched and searched but can't find out how to remove droppable objects - I want my buttons back :-)

Yes I use REGULARLY Scenery Config Editor and the dual add-ons.cfg (which often have double entries from FlightBeam Sceneries) as it just often feels like P3Dv4 is buggy with addons. With all addons removed and even temporarily moving out the Prepar3D v4\Weather\themes folder where it hangs, it will just hang elsewhere such as Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\TU-95\texture (I don't understand why the indexer has to look in such locations). No probs with the previous version but the trial time has about expired so time to give up anyway :-)

Yes, tried four times and at one stage left it for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Disappointed as I really wanted to purchase this but it seems far from ready at this stage. i will keep an eye on this forum and hope it improves sometime soon.
