  3. Well I just tried it out on a fresh install of Windows 8.1, and no luck here either  Not sure what the new OS doesn't like, but hopefully it does not extend to the rest of my gaming folder <_<
  4. On my 120Hz monitor I still lock the frames to 30fps regardless, but it's a matter of personal preference how many fps you like, some still use the unlimited with no ill effects, but have never seen the need to go that high on my rig.
  5. I have tried a lot of his textures, and they have not caused any loss of fps on my system, plus they look a lot better than the default, and are a great alternative if you do not wish to purchase any third party texture replacements.
  6. Absolutely amazing work there JerdooFlightX, thanks for sharing :friends:
  7. Taking into account downloaded software, joysticks, and the actual sim itself including an expansion pack, would be at least A$700. However, if I were to include all the PC upgrades have done over the years (just to get some decent frame rates), then that figure could easily be into 5 digits, as I upgrade on a regular basis, and have been doing so for the past 20 odd years, so the cost would be astronomical to date  I try not to think about that too much though
  8. That was awesome Comanche, sterling effort B) I really enjoyed watching. Almost makes we want to ditch my FSX for XP10 now
