  1. I completely agree with craig and bob650, sloppy standards and poor attention to detail, yet, the visuals suck you in, and as bob650 said, they are the only ones who may put out a product you want so you hope it works out, I just purchased their hawker850xp, I really, really didnt want to buy from carenado from previous experiences of disappointing workmanship and wished someone else would have put it out, but I really wanted the hawker and hoped they got this one right, well, if you think that you are in for a suprise, its the same old story of the complaints similiar to this website,......this is one of the problems, there are too many of the wrong companies putting out the right products people want, and they know that, I wish there was a sim company blacklist for rogue companies like carenado so people will not buy from them unless they raise their standards, otherwise it will be a continuation of putting out less than mediocre products and charging top dollar for them like carenado, I will under no circumstances buy another carenado product regardless how badly I may want the product and I recommend others do the same, that is, if you understand the sim industries high standards such as PMDG, A2A, and DCS.
  2. Regardless of what they are called I still have not cleared up this issue, I read the manual, you guys can be helpful by offering up a solution.
  3. By moving the throttles back according to the manual, moves the gust lock to my understanding.
  4. I already knew about the shift plus A thing, I will to repair it, I didnt know that thing was supposed to move, will see how it goes.
  5. I have the same thing you have ghucheon except I do not have the unit inside the unit look, instead I have ghost knobs that cannot be seen unless you place the mouse over them making it look like the radar fits inside the screen, I am goiing to quit while I am ahead and leave the unit like it is.
  6. If I am not mistaken the gustlock located on a panel on the co-pilots side just below the middle of the instrument panel on the right side of the throttle console is supposed to not be implemented, but there is a guy out there called swedflight that has a moving gustlock that works, I saw it work in his video, does anyone know how he did this? mine will not move.
  7. I tried everything and still could not get the FMC to operate including repair, so what I did was a complete reinstall of FSX and Acceleration, ( which I was trying to avoid ) but that took care of that problem and a couple of other minor issues as well so that made it well worth it, downscc, I appreciated the help though.
  8. When I try to turn on the FMC I cannot get it to work, the FMC screen is blank with a little yellow rectangle box in the middle of the screen, I tried a reinstall and changing the display steeings such as unchecking direct X....etc... to no avail, has anyone else had this problem? I couldnt find any one in the forum with this issue....any ideas how to fix this, I cannot load any flights.
  9. Thanks for the input vonmar, I was not able to a screenshot, I could not get it to take, what I did was fortunately I had a restore point available, so I restored it to that point, and it worked, so I am glad that that issue has now been resolved.
  10. Has anyone any Idea how to fix this issue? the RMU screen has blanked out, regardless of several simulator reinstall attempts it still shows no display, it used to work fine, is there anyone who can help with this issue?
  11. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue, I have had this prop airplane for quite sometime without any major issues, but recently my throttle and condition levers do not move, its like they are frozen in one position, they do not work with the throttle or the mouse, sometimes the flaps will work but most of the time they drop to 9 degrees and stop moving up or down, I have done several clean uninstalls, unplugged all joysticks from the computer except for the mouse, did a registry scan and checked the settings in controls which works just fine with other pmdg airplanes such as the pmdg 737ngx,......nothing seems to work I tried, I ruled out the yoke and throttle because they work just fine on another computer, I am at a loss, is anyone familiar with this type of issue?....please help.
  12. I tried that but the livery installer variant box inside the livery manager does not have a JS4100 aircraft inside, it only has the 737NGX series aircraft, how can someone get the JS4100 aircraft insde the variant installer box in the livery manager so the liverys can be installed?
  13. One example would be the piper navajo, some of those have a radar altimeter with an adjustment knob, I do not have a close up photo of the gauge with the knob but if you google the cockpit of the navajo you can see it, not all navajos have them though, and they could be hard to find or locate, many fighter aircraft have them and the DCS Blackshark attack helicopter has one that can be adjusted.
  14. Does anyone know how liveries are installed on the JS4100?.....the JS4100 aircraft is not in the variant box located in the livery manager, just the 737-800/900NGX is there.
  15. The knob you just mentioned is for the adjustment of the Decision Height , I already knew about that DH adjustment knob, but the radar altimeter displayed on the right side of the EFIS across from the DH display has no knob for adjustment, it was the radar altimeter not having an adjustment knob that I raised for question.
  16. I found it, the radar altimeter is always on, this one has no adjustment.
  17. Thats great news!!!....2 props I could just love and another aircraft type I had been waiting for to come out instead of the 777,....the 744, I did not buy the 777, I actually am extremly happy with the 737ngx, but I will buy all three of those aircraft given they put them out with photo realistic cockpits and accurate flight modeling, I will grab those up real quick, I hope you are correct with your information that those are really next in line for PMDG....much appreciated!
  18. Anyone know what the next PMDG aircraft will be since the 777 maxed out the heavy jumbo jets?......it would be nice if they could put out a real quality prop or even turbo prop, I have the JS-4100 and it is a fantastic dream of an aircraft, it would be nice if they could put out a high quality but much larger prop aircraft, is there another aircraft in the works or has PMDG stopped putting out aircraft after the 777?
  19. Ok Kevinh, I can understand the combining of features within the EFIS, I guess I am just used to radar altimeter adjustment knobs, that to me would be the whole Idea of having it on the aircraft as indication of a specific altitude reached, but well taken on what everyone has said. much appreciated.
  20. Ok.....it seems that the decision height feature and radar altimeter are one in the same, the names are interchangable, so the decision height adjuster is what can be called the radar altimeter.....right?
  21. Ok thomas,....I will look into those. thanks!
  22. Most radar altimeters can be controlled and adjusted, never seen one like that before.
  23. ok....I see how things work now, thanks for clearing things up guys.
  24. I have had the PMDG NGX 737 for quite sometime now and it is a fantastic sim, I am not a real world pilot and having never flown a real aircraft there is one thing that concerns me about flying FSX using ATC, after programing the flight plan in the FMC I notice that ATC in FSX seems to be unaware of my flight plan and I find myself being vectored away from the route I entered into the flight plan, so I was wondering how real world pilots deal with this?......if they program the their flight plan into the FMC do they weave back and forth from ATC altitudes given back to their flight plan entered into the FMC?.....I just find it annoying that I cant seem to use ATC with my flight plan because they do not recognize it, anyone else noticed this?
