  1. Hello, in some addon airports, for example Jetstream's LIML, after landing i ask for a parking clearance, and the ATC says "taxi to park "-MISSING NUMBER-" via taxiway...ect. It's missing the parking area number. With gates it works, and in default LIML it works. What could be the problem?
  2. I see. My case is absolutely nonsense. I disabled every addon, and unassigned every key from door control, in p3d and fsuipc. I created a small gauge that opens the doors clicking a button with the mouse, so no key stroke, and it happens anyways. Puzzling.
  3. Orbx global and vector, FSUIPC. I deactivated all orbx stuff and removed any assignment in FSUIPC. Problem is still there, infact i do not think a scenery addon can interfere with commands / doors / atc I really have no clue :( plz help! This is making me going crazy
  4. Checked. no double assignment. This happens even i have NO KEY assigned to ACT open-close.... weird. More weird: it happens even if i operate doors via panel clicking mouse on the gauge... Nonsense!
  5. not an addon. it happens with every default aircraft
  6. Hello everybody, when i operate aircraft doors, the ATC window closes itself. Is there a fix for this? Thanks!!
  7. I made a HOP! livery. Download here (really don't understand why users can't edit original/old posts) 😄
  8. ouch... i did that “Add models to database” “Scan folder”. . what now? (using FLAI)
  9. i see, good job. just a question, Opensky-ADSB: only 4 airplanes at Rome Fiumicino?? sounds strange
  10. (otherwise SimConnect wouldn't work) But on the x86 machine i run activesky that use SimConnect (properly configured), and it "dialogue" very well with the x64 P3D machine. Are you sure the reason is SimConnect? btw i am trying LorbyLiveTraffic on the same machine and it works fine. just a question, Opensky-ADSB: only 4 airplanes at Rome Fiumicino?? sounds strange
  11. Hi @Lorby_SI , is LorbyLiveTraffic windows x64 compatible only? I tried to install it on the other machine (win10 x86) and it doesn't start.
  12. Thank you so much @Lorby_SI for the super detailed explanation. So basically.... there is no way to do this (PSXSeecon is not an option for me). (Maybe the only way is to setup a WideView-WideTraffic network configuration, again not an option for me because you need to run P3D on all pc's, and my other networked pc is not capable to run P3D) Bytheway, someone on the Ultimate Traffic forums wrote me that UTL compute the traffic leaving the simulator free from calculate it. Maybe he's just wrong. (and @officercrockey aswell) I've read all the documentation about LorbyLiveTraffic, but i am not sure that i will see the performance improvement i would expect. Thanks again!
  13. @officercrockey Really??! So you put slider to 0? Did you noticed a performance boost?? can it run networked on another pc? Thanks a lot
  14. "Why do you need an app to put your traffic slider(s) at zero?" The need is an app that externally compute AI traffic and inject it in the simulator. So user can zero the in-game traffic slider, the simulator does't have to compute AI, and the result is a huge frames per second and performance boost. "What happens if you move the slider(s) to zero?" (Read above) it happens that simulator itself does not compute AI traffic. Have you ever tried to measure performance and frames per second, with 0% AI traffic versus 100% AI traffic? AI traffic is the most heavy resource demanding feature both in FSX and P3D.
  15. Hello everybody, i would like to put my traffic slider to 0% in the simulator, have ai traffic injected externally, and flying using the default ATC and traffic. I am looking since ages for an app that simply does this, but i still had no luck. Does anyone have any suggestion?
  16. If you run the server voxATC on another pc, boost must be there, as on your simulator you can put 0% traffic, but traffic will be there generated by voxatc Anyways, thank you so much for you help, but i give up with voxATC because i am not going to install the english voice recognition language pack. pity. it's incredible i cannot find any (pay or free) application that does a very simple thing: calcute externally the AI and injencting it.
  17. Hello, i'm interested in VoxATC but i would like to get some info first. Do VoxATC inject AI traffic in the simulator? I mean, will the ai calculations be made by VoxATC so the simulator do not have to compute the AI giving me a lot of more performance? Will i see and hear controllers talking about AI traffic in the sim? Can it run in a networked configuration running on another computer? ---> autoreply, YES Thanks!
  18. Hi Funk! Vsync ultimate frame limiter, what u mean? I can set my monitor to 30hz and Vsync on in P3D, and infact it will go 30 fps, but the problem about computing is still there. It is absolutely different from setting TFR 30. About point 2, well i have to agree. Anyways i am running an i7 3770K @4.5, GTX 980ti Amp Extreme, 16GB DDR3 @2400. Not cr@p, i would say.
  19. Hello people! In Prepar3D 4.3 i was experiencing the issue about autogen buildings loading very slowly: flying at low altitude at a reasonable speed of 300 and more knots, the more i was going forward, the less autogen was loading, resulting that after some miles P3D cannot load no more autogen in the very front of the plane. Then i run into a topic here where a user was suggesting to use the Target Frame Rate limiter. And it actually worked. The thing is that i really do not understand how it works, and i would like to discuss this with the community. I understood that limiting the framerate actually helps P3D in computing all the calculations needed to make every aspect in the sim running fine, sync'd, from the AI to texture rendering to geometry calculations. As told, using a TFR in my case helped the sim to calculate better the autogen and show it correctly. Leaving it "unlimited" this tells P3D to use all the power only for visual rendering, and all other things like autogen calculation will suffer. Crystal clear. Naturally there is that huge FPS drop. The thing i do not understand is why the drop is inconsistent. I try to explain: let's suppose i get 45 fps in a certain area with "unlimited" TFR. If i set TFR 45, fps drop to 20. And everything (including autogen) is fine. So this makes me think that my pc in that area can achieve 20 fps. Why if i set TFR 30, fps are no more 20 but they drop, let's say, to 12-13? Is TFR actually just a sort of "percentage" in the balance between frame rendering speed and other calculations? Isn't it very misleading to call it Target Frame Rate? Why don't call it "Visual fidelity vs. Frame rate balance"? It is not a TARGET FRAME RATE at all... Thanks for any informations and thoughts you would like to share.
  20. I have a different point of view... Instead of thinking about VR, LM should work more to achieve a stable simulator... First take care of basics.
  21. Italian companies do not have any crj 🙂 I have no idea what fly inside is. Cant help sorry
  22. Status update 2: Looks like Adaptive Power management mode in Nvidia settings help to keep GPU load under 100% Test still running nicely I tried lot of drivers version, but never changed nothing, all defaults. Maybe i am going to understand the problem on my system.
  23. After a deeper analysis, i was not considerating to monitor the hardware in a better way. So, P3D CTD with no messages and no event log, after the GPU is hitting 100% for too long time... Reading a post here in Avsim, i found out that setting my monitor to 30hz and Vsync and TB in game, i can have a smooth constant 30fps and never hitting 100% GPU. In this exact moment i am testing this setup. I will report. EDIT 1: i still hit 100% GPU in some random cases. Let's see.
