Hello Advice request please. I have just installed ENVTEX, having previously used REX4 with AS16 and ASCA. I have pointed ENVTEX to my ASCA folder. 1. How do I link it to AS16? Do I simply launch AS16 and ENVTX at the same time and select Launch Sim to start FSX. This will then run AS16, ASCA and ENVTEX all together? Is there a correct launch sequence? 2. Am I correct in turning off Cirrus and Cloud Textures and Cloud Structures in ASCA if I have Cumulus and Cirrus ticked in ENVTEX or should any of these be left ticked? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Hello Please could someone advise. I cannot get Slew Mode to work in FSX SP2 Y is assigned under Buttons/Keys controls. When in the sim, I press Y and the Lat / Long / Alt etc co-ordinates come up top left in red. When I try to use keys to slew the aircraft, nothing happens. Forward and Back arrow keys, Number keys, Function Keys, nothing moves the aircraft. I have deleted the Slew key assignments in the Control Axes tab as suggested in another forum, but with no effect. I have EZCA installed and don't know if that causes problems? I have noticed that without even opening the EZCA studio, pressing the Num Key 2 starts the bing sound, as though I am in EZCA studio mode even without launching it. Any advice much appreciated. UPDATE the GSX fix doesn't seem to work for me. PMDG vehicles still don't appear. Andrew

Hello Interpaul, I have GSX installed on the PC, but I have not started running it in the loaded flight i.e. Called for GSX stairs, fuel, catering etc. Does the PMDG services facility disable if GSX is installed on the PC? Andrew

Hello Just getting started with the new Queen. I have loaded cold and Dark panel state, set chocks and connected ground power. Called for stairs - FS Actions>Service Vehicles page 2>Stairs 2L and 2R. Option changes to 'Release' and doors open but no vehicles arrive. Likewise all other service vehicle requests. Any ideas please? Andrew

All good points which I have considered but come up blank. The problem is, I mostly load a saved flight and so don't really know for certain when it started happening. The FSL A320X was the only program addition recently and not aware of any Windows / Driver update. I have uninstalled and re-installed the FSL A320X without any positive effect. Strange thing is, unusually, no one has popped up saying "oh yes, this also happened to me and......" Seems to be a pretty rare thing. Hopefully, someone will have experienced it and offer a fix suggestion. These things are always trivial when you know where to look! Andrew Also, it's all aircraft, all airports.

Hi Charlie Thanks for your help. That suggestion works, now at least I don't need to exit the flight completely. Wish i could work out why its loading in a sunken state first time tho. Very strange as its been fine for three years! Andrew

Hello I'm looking for some advice please. Recently, some strange FSX behavior has started. I launch FSX and get the main FSX 'aircraft in window' form (with the FSX Trike showing as my default flight) I select the desired aircraft, location, time etc, and then pressing 'Fly Now' and the aircraft loads partially submerged. If I then return out to the FSX aircraft in window screen and re-press 'Fly Now' I get no problem, everything is displayed properly above ground. If I load a saved flight I get no problem, everything is above ground. What is happening the first time I launch a flight and what do I do to correct it please? Hello I have all PMDG products (747v2, 777, NGX, MD11, J41) for FSX SP2. The Operations Center is no longer displaying any products when I drop down the 'Please select a product'. This has been working fine in the past, allowing me to add liveries for the NGX, 777 etc, but since installing the 747v2 today, nothing is seen in the drop down. Any advice please? Ok, for those still following along at home...... here is an update. Turns out that my below scenery problem only occurs when I first set up and load from the FSX Free Flight menu screen. Any aircraft, any destination scenery, time or season. If I then exit from the airport when I have loaded sub-scenery and then re- load the exact same situation immediately from the FSX Free Flight screen as before, the problem disappears!!? Hows that for weird? Andrew

Thanks to everyone who is responding. Recently Added: FSLA320X - didnt notice the problem. Since loaded ORBX Germany North, MalagaX and ValenciaX. I have ORBX Vector and notice in the manual that it warns that the installer places it in a very specific place in the library. I havent changed anything, but looking at my FSX Scenery Library, i notice that of the 5 library entries: FTX_VECTOR_AEC FTX_VECTOR_APT FTX_VECTOR_CVX FTX_VECTOR_EXX FTX_VECTOR_OBJ one of them is seperate and lower in the library below all the FSX Base items and Default Scenery. Thats: FTX_VECTOR_AEC Could that be a problem? Im creating some screen shots. Thanks Andrew

Thanks for responding Mark, Not knowingly. How would I do that? What's strange is my saved flights load above ground ok. It's loading an aircraft?location/time?weather fresh from the FSX screen that results in the problem..... Andrew

Hello Has anyone experienced this and could you advise please. My FSX Acc system has been fine for 4 years, but suddenly I'm finding that when I load any aircraft at any airport it loads partially submerged below the scenery. This is not specific to any brand of airport addon scenery. They all were fine but now all behave the same. This doesn't apply though if i load a saved flight. Also, recently purchased Aerosoft scenery, MalagaX & ValenciaX for example now has floating buildings. Any ideas please? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Hello, I would appreciate some kind advice please, as I have been trying to get help from Flight One and frustratingly, support response times are 24 hours plus between emails. This problem popped out of the blue this week. I was advised by UT2 support to seek the UTii.DLL in my anti virus software (Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows 7 in my case). While looking there for UTii.DLL unsuccessfully, I discovered Trojan:win32/dynammer!ac in quarantine history, flagged as a 'Serious Risk' and so promptly deleted it. I subsequently discovered from a UT2 forum post that apparently UTii.DLL was in my MS Security Essentials quarantine history after all - but it was apparently called Trojan:win32/dynammer!ac !! Unfortunately, I was told to look for UTii.DLL in Quarantine not Trojan:win32/dynammer!acwas, so as a result of my precipitous (if perhaps excusable) action, for me UTii.DLL is now lost. In light of the absence of a timely response from UT2 support, any advice on how I can recover this situation would be much appreciated please? I have Googled any way to recover the deletion, but without success. Does this mean a re-install - any alternative? Thanks for your advice in hopeful anticipation. Andrew

Hello Frank Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by your question. If you are asking if I have used Shift+2 to call up the 2D Garmin 430 or any other 2D Com panel, then the answer is no. I dont use the 2D panels. I simply start FSX with the default Trike showing in the window, switch aircraft to the F33, load the F33 flight, still at Friday Harbor, switch on the battery, start up the aircraft, turn on the Avionics Master switch to the left of the G430 in the V cockpit and bingo, the morse beeping starts. Only way to stop it is to turn off the Avionics Master again.Changing/switching frequencies or turning off the G430 unit with its power switch makes no difference. Makes no sense?! Apologies if I have miss-understood your question. Andrew

Hello, Getting to grips with the F33 as a new user but have a persistent problem. I can't stop the ident morse code audio playing, by changing frequencies or even when the Com radios are switched off. The only thing that stops it is turning off the master avionics switch. It must be something I'm doing wrong, since no one else is complaining about this in the forum and for sure everyone is not flying around with that going on in the background. Please could someone make a suggestion as to how I should turn this off. Thanks in hopeful anticipation Andrew

Hello, I have just installed the Carenado F33 Bonanza and am having a few minor problems right away.Any advice received would be very much appreciated. My initial problems are: No Beacon displayed on tail when it is switched on. No luggage shown when selected, but chocks etc do show.
