  1. This is not a problem for me. Check your flap settings. If you are above 220 knots for example, you should have 0 flaps.
  2. Something I would like to see whilst the game is still developing is the ability to start in different places ie. at a certain altitude or pick a spot on the map kind of thing. I usually select a final approach as I don't have a lot of time to create longer flight plans and would like to maybe start a descent from a higher altitude to practise my approaches. Though I dislike xplane app, it is a nice feature that they have. This would keep me very occupied whilst the app is still being developed. Gruff
  3. I have been using a few planes with IF and so far I am not able to fly a fully realistic final approach. I calculate a realistic vref as 1.3 x stall speed. I work out the stall speed by stalling the actual aircraft. I'm using the a340 atm and the vref with my current weight setting, which is below MLW, should be 154. However it won't descend with a slightly positive pitch up angle. I would have to have a slightly nose down pitch, which is not how the airliners fly perform their final approach. Are you working on more accurate physics in this area? Also, do you have plans to upgrade what we can monitor in the virtual cockpit ie. attitude indicator? I understand that there are limits on a tablet that might be challenging to see verticle speed and nav aids, but I would find the Attitude indicator a great upgrade and maybe the other figures ie. vs running just running at the top of the screen as they are. This isn't a complaint, just something I would like to see improve. I love the way this app is developing and as I don't have the means to set up a working pc with FSX, I would love to see these areas improve. Many thanks. Gruff Also, will you be able to get more accurate distance indications to the beginning of the run way?
  4. Hi Matt Thanks for the swift response. That answers my questions. Do you have any advice on the 757 and it's accuracy? I think I prefer generally to fly a 737 or 757, but will definitely now purchase the 777 to have a bit of fun. Many thanks.
  5. Dear IF, Thank you for this game. I'm really enjoying that this can an be pursued on a tablet. I have a few questions. I have been reading and studying more about planes, but I would still say I am relatively new to it all. 1. I would like to know what degrees the markings are on the attitude indicator. 2. How accurate is the ILS glide slope info? E.g. Sydney int says it has a 3degree slope. Can I rely on this info? 3. When giving info of distance from last waypoint to the airport with the correct runway when coming in on approach, is this information accurate? Is it the distance to the nearest part of runway, middle or furthest or simply to the airport symbol on the gps? I ask because some calculations I'm doing don't seem to work. 4. How accurate are the planes according to real power and speed settings? Which plane would you say is most developed into is area? I'm finding that to execute landings with a nose up attitude several degrees isn't possible at some of the known vref speeds. I have learned to do this with the planes except for 737 on 30 flaps which seems impossible. 5. Finally, which plane would you recommend most accurate in terms of physics? I understand that this is a low cost app made for things like tablets so I'm not necessarily expecting these things, more so just trying to find out more from the designers to know what I can expect. Thanks for taking the time to read. I look forward to your response.
