Right, this is how it shows. Your explanation is logically, but the "b" only appears after flying for some time, not from the beginning. I will further check if or when it appears again.

I am using the latest AutoFPS-Version with DX11 and without Expert-Options. Target FPS is set to 30. All works well, but after some time the Target FPS-Field shows an additional "b", in my case "30b". What does the "b" mean? Thanks

Thanks for your comments and hints. Yes, I manually copied the individual season-file from the main folder to the community-folder, e.g. Bijan Seasons - Spring N - Fall S plus Bijan - Model Assets without success. Even after removing all other files resp. folders from the community-folder leaving only Bijan-Seasons-folders same result. Basically MSFS always shows the same vegetation with or without installing Bijan Seasons. Is there anything to configure in the MSFS-Option-Settings when using Bijan Seasons? Does Bijan Season only work within certain areas of the globe?

After installing the current 1.3beta I observed a drastic drop in FR from about 45 (V.1.2) to abaout 26 (V.1.3) for the same flight. Sure I do not have a super bells- and whistles-system (i5 - 4590 and GTX 1060), but upto now I am satisfied running in FHD. After reinstalling V.1.2 the old FR returned. Has anybody observed similar effect?

After quite some time without having installed Bijan Season I reinstalled V7.2a again and manually put corresponding files into the community-folder. Unfortunately there is no influence to my current MSFS, always the same landscape. Even if I change the different season-files. MSFS always shows the same vegetation. Is the program no more working in current MSFS-version?

I am using Version 522.25 which solved the issue for me. Not sure if this version dated Oct. 22 is suitable for the latest GPUs. I am still using the 1060 in Full HD (waiting for price-drops for actual GPUs ...)

I had a similar issue some months ago. Reinstalled MSFS several times without success and got really upset. Finally it turned out that the latest Nvidia-Driver at that time which I had installed was causing this effect. After installing an older version everything worked again like before. So if the problem comes up again you may try this solution.

Just installed v. 7 and face some issues: I'm living in Southern Germany in about 800 m, so we currently have snowy landscape with some nice clouds. This weather ist also shown in MSFS using "Live Weather". When I copy "Winter N - Summer S" into the community-folder and start MSFS again nothing is really changing. When switching off "Live Weather" snow and clouds are gone, similar to the standard situation without the season-file in the community-folder. For further investigation I copied "Summer N - Winter S" instead of "Winter N - Summer S" to see whar happens. I would now expect summer vegetation, but again the landscape is fully covered with snow and some clouds, as it really is today. Only when switching off "Live Weather" the season obviously changes to summer-vegetation. But now no clouds and clear blue sky. My questions: 1. Does the season-pack only work in defined areas of the world? 2. Do I generally have to switch off "Live Weather" (did not find any remark in the instructions)? If so, what about clouds? Generally I would expect the Season-Pack to only replace the current vegetation but keeping the weather (clouds ...) as it currently really is and shown with "Live Weather" switched on. Is there anything I am making wrong? Thanks for your help. Norbert

@fppilot I used the Store-App. @109Sqn Yesterday I contacted the Microsoft-Support by phone and asked for help. They really took their time and tried for about 1 hour via remote-control to find the problem within the Store and the XBox-App, but finally without success. Another guy called back this morning and continued to find the reason for the problem, again for about 1 hour! But also he gave up with the conclusion, that the reason may be within my Win 10-Installation. He transferred me to the Windows-Support-People and they recommended what? Yes, run the Media Creation Tool and see, what happens. I am describing the story in detail, because I am very please about the support-service of Microsoft-Germany! Great! And finally: SUCCESS!! After running the tool the download started without any issues and is still on his way for almost 100 GiB. So thanks to Microsoft and to everybody who helped getting my beast working again! Regards

Thanks Noel for your hint. No, I do not use Process Lasso and haven't contacted Microsoft yet. Still trying to solve the issue by myself. Worst case would be a complete new Win 10-Installation - only due to MSFS! All other programs are working without problems ...

In 08/2020 I installed MSFS via the boxed-version without problems and got all updates without major issues via the Store. About 1 week ago suddenly I could not start MSFS - only the Store popped up. Obviously this issue appears sometimes and so I tried to solve this by using the felt hundreds of tricks and advices in different forums and also given by Microsoft, but without success. Finally I decided to make a new installation and consequently uninstalled my existing version. As the new download via the store did not work I took the lengthy exercise to install again via the 10 DVDs and then update the rest via the Store - this was the plan and recommended by some users. DVD-installation worked fine after about 3 hours, but the 25-digit-code logically was not accepted, because it was already used by the first installation. No problem - this is normal as advised by many users. Just download the remaining part via the Store. In the Store I selected via the 3-dot-menue the point "My installations" (description maybe different because I use the german version!), and now within a list also the Flight Simulator appears "bought 18.08.2020" with the button "Install" and again with the button "Manage". So I selected "Install", the button disappeared and some activity for a few seconds ran over the net. But after a few minutes the button "Install" again appeared and nothing has happened - no downloads even after waiting for some time. I repeated this step many times, but without success. I am frustrated and fed up after many hours fiddling to reinstall MSFS again and my brain is in emergency-mode! So I hope somebody is kind enough to share his or her experience having had the same issue and may finally have solved it. Thanks a lot and kind regards Norbert

@dobee51 Then you do not really use the "autopilot" to automatically keep the set course, but only as steering aid - as you describe. The "Assisted-Yoke"-Setting can be found after loading MSFS under "Options" on the same page as "General Options" are available. On this page you have the choices of "General Options", "Assistance Options" and "Control Options". Choose "Assistance Options" and then "Piloting". Here you will find "Assisted Yoke" - set it to "OFF", if not already done. So it is not available in the Pilot Assist section. I am using the autopilot in the following way: - Before takeoff still on the runway dial with the crank the upper compass to the planned course after takeoff. - Push the left "Propeller-Knob" to arm the autopilot. Be aware, that autopilot is not yet switched on. - After takeoff and reaching safety-height you have two possibilities to turn and stabelize to the planned course set by the upper compass-scale: "active and fast" or "easy and slow". 1. Active and fast Manually control the plane to turn to the planned course and roughly stabelize the bird. Now set the switch "Kurssteuerung" (located under the main board behind the yoke) to "Ein" = "On" and consequently the autopilot will slowly adjust the plane to the set course and keep it. 2. Easy and slow After takeoff switch the described switch "Kurssteuerung" to "Ein" and the autopilot will slowly turn the plane towards the set course. As the technology of this autopilot is from the 1930s everything is done mechanically with a lot of "bells and whistles", but surprisingly it somehow works. The plane will now move to the set course and will overshoot it by some 10 to 20 degrees, then turn back overshooting again to the other side and so on. So it may take a few minutes until it stabelizes on the set course. Now you can turn the crank of the compass step by step to the further courses you want to fly, and autopilot will follow. You may also use the two described procedures to achieve this. Method 1 is recommended for larger changes and method 2 for smaller changes. Just play with it and you will be aware what I mean. The main drawback of this autopilot realized in JU-52: It only works in cockpit-view - at least with my configuration. As soon as you switch to the external view or drone view the autopilot stops working. You will observe this malfunction in outside view, when depending on wind-conditions the plane will slowly drift off the set course. To get it back to the course you may do it manually (still in external view) or switch back to cockpit-view, and autopilot will do it for you again automatically. Hopefully Asobo will correct this bug with a future update of JU-52. Sorry for the long story, but I hope this helps.
