Beautiful and breathtaking views. Yesterday I made a flight from Rome to Venice, it's great, even in simulator! -
It might be a problem with FSX itself. I had this problem too, but I just reduced the engine sound volume in the FSX sound settings. I put it to really minimum possible, and it worked.

Every time when I feel lack of motivation to fly, I watch one particular video on YT: It's just amazing.
