So the AI sound volume was LOWER after you installed ASE?

Greetings, I recently acquired a nice surround sound system (5.1) for my sim. It's great! I'm now in the market for a really good AI Sound replacement. I've seen some here or there, they seem relatively inexpensive, which is always cool. I use WOAI for my AI traffic. Any advice on good payware AI sound replacements? Thanks for everyone's input! Kevin, I uninstalled 777 Immersion and reinstalled it. Still nothing. I have no idea. When it comes to the 777, sometimes the PrecipitFX effects work, sometimes they don't. I saw the water tire tracks and engine thrust spray during taxi, but when I got on the runway, all that stopped and it was as if I was on dry land. And NO sign of wingtip vortices either. I'm at a loss. It seems to be a problem with the 777. I made sure everything was up to date with the 777. But to no avail. Waiting for help. Respectfully, Geoff Carr

Kevin, I do have a registered version of FSUIPC. I noticed the vortices on the default crj700 this evening. So, I do believe that the PrecipitFX is working, however, my 777 Immersion is not working. I tried testing that with the weather set to Major Thunderstorm (fsx weather engine) and got nothing. I ran the 777 Immersion installer again, and it stated that it could not install the brake dust on all three variants of the 777 (200LR, 200F, 300ER). I'm not really sure at this point. I'm going to try to Uninstall 777 Immersion and reinstall it to see if that fixes things. Please let me know if you know of anything else I can try. I will test my 737 NGX 6, 7, 8, and 9 tomorrow to see if all the PrecipitFX effects are working and let you know. Thank you again for your guidance. Respectfully, Geoff Carr

Kevin, No to #1 and #2 and for #3, do you mean the FSX directory? If not, would you mind guiding me through that one. I should mention, this is after having to completely uninstall and reinstall FSX. I had some issues that warranted that course of action, prior to the uninstall, everything was working great. Also, I am noticing one possibly two effects working, the thrust spray behind the engines in wet conditions, and also think I saw the wheel tracks in water. But that's it. I've installed both 777 Immersion and PrecipFX but they are not showing in the sim. After every add-on aircraft installation, I run both PrecipFX and 777 Immersion to make sure these wonderful effects are added to my newly installed aircraft, but the effects do not display in the sim. There is only one American Airlines One World livery available in the file library for the 737-800WL NGX model. I've seen several pictures of this plane in other simmers' screenshots. However, when I download it and install it through the livery manager (several attempts), the Vertical Stabilizer and both engine cowlings are black. The rest of the plane looks beautiful. What could be causing this you think?? thanks for your help, Geoff

I did something on the verge of sacrilege apparently. I got shockwave 3D lights redux. Found .CFG light codes online. I put them in my ngx 738/9 and am quite upset with the results. I've learned my lesson. Will someone please copy their light sections from their ngx 738/9 for me? Thanks in advance.

The PMDG 777 has the RAAS system (runway announcement) Is there anyway to apply this to the 737NGX?

Dear PMDG, First, THANK YOU for an amazing product. I have learned so much with the 737NGX!! I feel I am ready to graduate to the 777. I purchased the 737NGX through fspilotshop.com and was able to buy the DVD and install it that way. fspilotshop.com did not give me an option for download, and they do not seem to have available the PMDG 777 for purchase, download or DVD. Where can I purchase a PMDG 777 (LR/F) DVD? I like having a hard copy for future re-install purposes. Thank you for your help! gmcarr82
