Those things will be added with world updates (devs mentioned this will happen once per month or so). Also addons can fill up the „empty space“. Looking at bings, the new Istanbul airport doesn’t exist for it yet either. Also other funny thing I have found out: Even Aachen has photogrammetry, and Cologne doesn’t. Anyway, I was able to find my home in a small city located between both of these cities 😛

What’s the problem? The text says that you can upgrade your version, but it will cost a bit more than buying the desired edition at the first place. From Standard to Premium you need to pay 60 extra bucks and if you want to upgrade it might be possible that you need to pay 70 instead (or something like that)

I have almost the same specs as the one used in the video (Ryzen 5 3600 and not a Ryzen 7 3700X). I hope having 2 cores less won't result in lower performance. Also keep in mind that recording takes up some performance as well, so his CPU load was probably higher than usual.

I also asked myself what happens if i buy stuff from the marketplace while playing with game pass and switch to steam version later. I hope the content we bought is linked to our microsoft account, so we don't have to buy payware again.

Why are you worrying? 🙂 Just wait for tuesday, i think after launch you won't be in a hurry to upgrade right now.

If you want 2080ti performance it won't be as expensive as getting a 2080ti right now. Its rumoured that even the 3060 will be slightly worse than the 2080ti. So you could get a "mid tier" 3070 for 500 bucks that probably will be more powerful than the 2080ti. A 3080 will certainly be much much more powerful than the 2080ti.

Yeah, thought so. Handcrafted airports also miss a couple of things for "the last touch". Not sure if they were not able to get the licenses for that but at the Frankfurt airport stuff like "Lufthansa Technik" at the buildings are not there. I mean the buildings are done accurate, but as far as "detail" goes, i actually might skip the premium deluxe version and get payware addons for airports i want.

Why not wait for the 3000 series that is coming in a couple of months? Your 1080ti is enough to run this game at ultra. You will get 2080ti performance at a lower cost if you wait.

Hi, thanks for the insight 🙂 I recently upgraded my 8 year old i5 3570k to a Ryzen 5 3600, because it was bottlenecking my GTX 1070 in recent games. Could u tell me what kind of performance/settings i could expect if i want to play at 1080p? Does the GTX 1070 run just fine with everything set to high?

Do we know if ground handling will have the right ground handler at handcrafted airports? Like Gategourmet, LSG Sky Chefs and stuff..

It doesn’t matter what specs you have. Yesterday someone got invited that has a 2600k and also someone got invited that only has 4gb of ram. That being sad, I’m running a 8 year old CPU (3570k) and will probably upgrade to Zen 3 later this year/early next year. But the Flight Simulator seems to be more GPU intensive anyway.
