FS2020 is superior to 2024. Maybe within a year from now, the tables will turn.

Hi, I'm using Active Sky FS with FS2020. Is there a way to completely disable snow ground coverage? There's an option in the menu to set a temperature threshold, but it's not very effective or broad enough. Does anyone know of a mod or setting that completely eliminates all ground snow coverage? Thanks in advance!

I had such a good time flying FS2020 after all the frustration with 2024. What a shame more and more devs and leaving it at this time. Ah, yes - and this is from the new BATC update - guess what's wrong with it now...Yes, I realize this is an exp. version, but I don't care. It's been a really long time and these kind of bugs are unacceptable.

If these are platform limitations, why has nobody bothered to update me about them ?

Perhaps, but these issues don't occur mainly on the ground. For example:

Clam down, bob - Nobody's blaming anyone. You can rate my posts however you'd like. I'm simply pointing out my issues with the program, and yes—these posts are mainly due to the poor customer treatment I received from their staff on Discord. I will continue posting until they fix these bugs (if possible). Only then will I stop making these posts.

I fly using BATC daily, and in 80% of the flights, I do have issues with it - mainly related to traffic mainly at 3rd party airports, as depicted. I was aware of the different versions. Thanks.

See if FSLTL's base library is detected by reviewing your user content inside the sim...this may give you an idea. another suggestion would be to 1- try to regenerate the layout.json files in your AI models(traffic) folder, and if that doesn't make it show traffic, 2- remove any AI Traffic folders from your .\community folder and reinstall FSLTL's traffic using the flybywire installer. 3rd option would be to simply remove the AI Traffic folder from %appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 folder (in simobjects). use Void's Everything (version 1.5a) to search for any other folders related to the aforementioned traffic folder. Good luck.

have you tried uninstalling fs2024 + deleting %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (steam) + a complete reinstall ?

Yes. the GUI is indeed easy on the eyes, but then again - the inibuilds A350 is also very good looking. Is it effective ? No really. What matters is what's under the hood, sir. Besides, BATC's GUI is severely lacking in functionality - you are only given a limited set of options from which you can choose (LLM is not very good at its current state), and I'm not even mentioning the cases where you have to reconnect to GND Freq, for example - because BATC fails to detect that you have already been pushed back and thus a taxi request is not even presented as an option. Same goes when you're mid flight where BATC "forgets" you are in the air and have to manually reconnect to center, that is if the software itself doesn't crashes and loses connectivity with the sim altogether... These issues were also brought to their attention (by me) and nothing has changed for me since. Their response - lack of staff\devs\small dev team.

I use SB+paid NG subscription, last time I had a taxi|AI taxi issue was when arriving KPDX V2 that I had purchased earlier....TODAY. BATC is not free unlike fsltl, I fully expected an upgraded and more accurate ATC and AI traffic management experience. since its been close to a year since release, and knowing that bugs I had reported didn't get fixed, I deem batc a disappointment and waste of money at this point.

1) I never wrote collide - I wrote that AI traffic uses same taxi path headed in the opposite direction. 2) now that you mentioned it, the AI traffic push back operation is also poorly executed as the aircrafts I noticed that were pushed back moved way too fast than normal and spinned like helicopter rotors.

Perhaps I'm a bit slow, but I fail to understand how is this screenshot serves as any kind of proof. one obvious issue that comes to mind is that my nickname here lacks a '4'... Please do better.
