  1. In X-Plane you can press the "B" and you can toggle the brakes on / off "B" stands for "brake". it always been a basic action in the ecosystem of X-Plane without any problem.
  2. Aerial imagery have shadows and its heavy to DL. Xplane needs a procedural way to create glass blades, trees and procedural concrete textures as well as a nice ocean shader. Premade Autogen 3D buildings should sit around the world terrain devided in style by regions, who cares to match reality? new volumetric point clouds and Xplane Vulkan becomes un-beatable.
  3. I don't think these two could improve anything in the flight dynamics in regards to what the devs have done so far at the default aircraft.
  4. interesting, besides the vanilla which you classify as not far aeay one to esch other, is there anything else that contributes to your current decition such as dynamics, the library of planes you already have in XP, etc?

  6. i'm not a simmer nor a gamer, i only have XP demo since mid 2019. i specialize in dynamics and I only like to make planes. I'm currently working on my latest design and development of my M-944 a long range aircraft capable of very high speeds and take off in only 1,500 metres of distance. I dont have time to learn ATC, i want an embeded window for me to perfom with easyness and intuition. I also love to do volumetric clouds.
  7. i have no idea what is vatsim nor pilotedge, i want XP to do it for me, so i want a nice A.i Atc with humanized voices for me with clickable buttons, so i have intuition in what to do or respond to ATC.
  8. in real life, is all about the flight harmony, the instruments, the functions, the navigazioni and following a tower control indications. XP can replicate all this. Scenery is secondary. XP needs to have out of the box: volumetric clouds, better lighting, better original terrain mesh with well defined generic geometries for buildings on a random allocation with lights for the night. water displacement linked to sim/wind/ and a friendly smart and clickable ATC window. high fps, dynamics and airports are all already there !
  9. Nobody or just a few will commit to pay $25k in order to be an alpha tester, if a leak happens without the knowledge of the alpha tester, it is a lot of money involved and better not to be involved at all.
  10. no what you are saying is stupid, if things were organized the way you support with a possoble fine, there wouldnt be any alpha testers collaborating in bug research.
  11. Do you really think an alpha tester would sign such condition when a computer or xbox is a physical device that can be stolen and may cause a leak ?

  13. My approach is smoother than -2500fpm, I`m just trying to show that I can deflect and bounce at 400 kts too.
  14. i did a less aoa at nearly 400kts and i got a major deflect and bounce.
  15. i tryed a similar aproach with the Boeing 737 and i got a bounce on XP.
  16. i cant compare, i never played MFS. All im saying is it will be hard to surpass xplane physics. in my opinion, a 350kts landing is surreal but the A320 should bounce, brake landing gear and catch air again as the MfS video do.
  17. regarding the video, the Boeing 747 looks loaded in the video. around 300 t. we dont know the weight distribution setting, is it using the center or only the wings for fuel? The a320neo mlw capacity is much lower, around 60 t. the deflection percorse and resistsnce at the landing gear is similar to the 747 so in my opinion this plane going down at 350kts should bounce at touch down, braking part of the landing gear but with the ability to take off again on full thrust, so my point is that what happened at MFS is fine.
  18. You've testified how I resolved my own plane design in a fully functionable matter for X-plane in less than a month without knowing aviation. I've been teaching A.I algorythms on super computers with 16 modules of 256gb of Ram @ Linux. i'm offended if you dont see myself in the group of the best artists and simulation experts of the world. For me, 3Ds Max and Blender are basic software. We use different software based on phyton 100% procedural flow for simulations now, the options are for Windows, MacOs and Linux. I usually use Windows but I process on Linux to maximize process power. I admire Meyer and Spudnik, and it will be very hard to surpass their level @ BET I could show you precisely how an aircraft at 350kts on mid pay load touch down should reakt.

The video you posted on top showing the A320 hitting hard and bouncing at SFO shows less detail in comparison to released imagery by MFS, that is because the video is not 4K, it is horribly encoded and very very compressed. As for physics i made a similar test in xplane landing at 350kts on a similar aoa and i got a similar outcome with the only difference that in xplane i saw: landing gear deflected to its limits. bouncing was minor. friction was less permissive. wing flexed drastically. But the overal outcome was similar.
  20. what you are showing is The Foundry NUKE composition of different render passes such as beauty, ambient occlusion, reflections, specular levels so forth and so on, as a 3D Dynamic Simulation expert i can tell you that Blender is very nice but it is all about the render engine you are using, 3Ds max is capable of using Arnold and or Red Shift, I find 3Ds Max more robust than Blender, however the level of rendering should be much more advanced in comparison to what MFS has shown so far, i'm pretty sure they are using in-games pictures and short videos not 3Ds Max.
  21. They do not show 3dsMax renders, images and short clips are 4K in game.

All right i saw the AdaptBaton leak, I`m very happy with the scenery and dynamics, the first landing attempt is fair to bounce but the landing gear should deflect and damage too, I expect these features to perform in 3rd party deep dev plane makers, in the second landing attempt there is a lot of permission from the sim to the plane not to wreck, but again, i hope this could be tweakable in non official brand planes. My only comment would be that the wing flex should be more vivid. The scenery and lighting is spectacular, i`m not worried about glitches under bridges, A.I spiders will fix this on batch by regions and it will take some time for the whole world. I think ATC is wonderful the way it is resolved, i give 4 stars out of 5, and it will be 5 stars if voices sound more human. I cant wait for release.
