Sydney International Airport. Noon. Lights on. I don't remember them being on during daylight. Does this Sim actually have pilot activated lighting? Would be awesome if it did.

I've noticed after the patch that airport lighting is on for every airport at every time of the day. I don't recall seeing glowing orbs down the center of the runways at noon. Could be mistaken though.

This is why I've given up on mods/sceneries and liveries. Way too much hassle everytime they update and break the game. By all means, I'm missing my favorite airports but I cbf trawling the internet every two weeks to find them all again and re-download the new versions and installing. Steam shows I have 170 hours of game time. Logbook shows 74 hours of flight time. Don't even want to think about how many hours of modding time spent.

I've gotta say, I just got mine and I'm really liking the stiffer pitch axis on the unit. Waiting for the aircraft to speed up at the top of climb just prior to trimming it out requires more and more force to maintain level and almost gives the impression of FFB. I am having trouble mapping my hat switch though. On its own, I use the hat to switch between quick views and pilots next/previous positions. Works fine. But I also use button 1 as a modifier to enable the hat switch to work as a free look. It all works except for looking up. I've programmed "POV Up + Trigger1" to the "look up" command but it just never works. "POV_Up_Left + Trigger1" works as intended as do all other look commands. Kinda stumped. Edit: scratch that. Found an additional mapping that I hadn't cleared in the yoke. Works fine now. As I was saying, I love my Alpha. 🙂

Yeah I've seen it pop up on the PFD once it's tuned and in range. Was just hoping it may also show up next to the com1 freq display also. Regardless of in range or not. Not a big deal. Just thought it would be displayed more prominently than it is.

Is there any way of displaying current NAV freq on the PFD or MFD? I can see both Com 1&2 active and standby freq but not NAV. I know it's available on the TSC but you would think NAV frequency would a critical piece of info for the pilot to see without fluffing around on a tiny little touchscreen.

This would be awesome to have in the lighting mod! The dash is waaaaaay too dark!!!

I'm thinking this might be my best bet! Currently have assistance off but trying to take off and land on centerline is really just a case of hoping for the best! On take off, throttle on results in the plane pulling dramatically to the left, in a way that would result in an immediate aborted takeoff irl, nothing realistic about it, and then if by some miracle I manage to correct it, half way though the take off roll the torque effect seems to flip and it will start pulling dramatically to the right. (TBM930) It's really just a race to V1 before all control is lost on the runway. Landing, well as soon as the wheels hit the runway, the plane lurches one way or the other resulting in the plane fish tailing down the runway. Like something you would see in Grand Theft Auto. Joystick sensitivity @-90%. Hoping this gets fixed properly at some point.

I've tried to buy it on 3 different android devices and none seem to be compatible.

I'm starting to get the feeling that even with a beast like the 3090, decent resolution triple monitor setups with playable framerates is pretty much off the table for Fs2020. Playable as in 50fps+. 30fps might be in reach but I can't play 30. Feels like a really pretty powerpoint sideshow to me @30fps! Lol
