  1. Broken clock being right twice a day is a thing. I find it interesting that the MSFS community managers are now coming to third party forums to tell users they've banned for negative feedback that they don't remove negative feedback. That's fun to see.
  2. I'm primarily a general aviation, VFR guy that often doesn't even make flight plans. Just a whole lot of "request following" as I move through areas. But I do like seeing and hearing activity around the busy airspaces, even if it's just AI. Any ATC addons that can give me more of that?
  3. They're absolutely out of control. Very much "Bow to me personally or else".
  4. I work in an industry that doesn't take holidays off at all, let alone long vacations. I work with other people in industries where if they did that, it'd be chaos when they returned, at best. Millions of dollars in damages at worst. I have no sympathy for somebody releasing a broken product, charging exorbitant prices for it and then being expected to stick around and fix it. I have disdain for people that release said broken product and then go on vacation. Particularly when the work required to fix it can be done from a nice cushy couch with a laptop.
  5. I'm still waiting for them to push the fixes to the Albatross. That's work that someone else did for them and they still can't get it done. Really makes them look incompetent.
  6. Right? It's crazy. It's like defending a company for charging a premium price to buy an unfinished product! Only madmen do that.
  7. Some do, in free flight well above the ground, sure. So maybe 30% of our 200 USD game? Not really a bragging point, unfortunately. Also, that's not one of them. Have you tried using the autopilot on that? It's broken, too.
  8. Release a broken product, go on vacation, come back, and release a cosmetic hotfix... And nobody gets fired. I'm in the wrong industry.
  9. Losing the main menu and what should be local settings because the servers go down is bad design, full stop.
  10. Looks like it sort of works in 2024, so maybe I'll try it. Thanks. Not quite the same, but I'll keep it in mind if I can't find anything else that works.
  11. One of my favorite things to do is fly small general aviation stuff in different places, just exploring a bit, chasing bad weather, that sort of thing. While I do it though, I like hearing (and seeing) other traffic coming and going in the airports around me. Do any of the ATC programs out there add more life to that sort of thing?
  12. This is the answer right here. This was released unfinished, full stop.
  13. Uninstalled 2020. Played 2024 a bit, then got fed up and played other games entirely. Every time we get an update I try 2024 again... And then go back to other games.
  14. Anyone know how to stop that error message from spamming you about not being able to load traffic data? Or do you have to stop the entire thing and change settings? I also noticed I was in a T-pose in the cockpit at the time, so it's clearly more issues with streaming. Just wish I could toggle some of it off.
  15. I think it very much depends. If you only ever experience that in one location despite using many, many platforms, it's hard to say it's you and not that one specific platform where you're experiencing it.
